Survivor: Kaôh Rōng

I just read the description of the finale for tonight on my TV. Don't do it. It gives away the "first", and it's actually kind of what I was guessing. But it should definitely be an interesting one!

EDIT - I actually misread the description. I thought through how that spoiler would work, and couldn't see a way it would be possible. I went back and reread the description and inserted a word in my head that wasn't actually there. So now I feel stupid. :p

I was thinking about this season the other night, and realized one thing they got right this season: reward challenges. Normally reward challenges are kind of boring, but they have been very entertaining this season. Some of them weren't intentional, like the Caleb med-evac, or Joe winning with his last two sandbags, but they've been very good entertainment. Back when Jeff made an impromptu decision to let the players choose their own teams as long as one sat out, it was interesting from a television standpoint, along with a strategic standpoint. It totally changed the tribe's outlook on Julia, and ultimately led her to being untrustworthy. I hope they do this more in the future.

I just wanted to post this thought because after tonight's finale I won't remember to write it with everything else going on.

This is crazy. IMO the two best players left battling by building a fire. Go Aubry! But I have a feeling it's Aubry going home. I've felt she's a final 4 boot for a long time. The best player always seems to go at the final 4.

Well I was wrong. Should be interesting to see who ends up in the final 2! And I'm dying to know what the twist is. I can't even imagine what it could be.

Holy expletive! This is a weird twist. Frankly, I don't like it. It's not how Survivor is intended to be played. We'll see how it works out, but Michelle would be stupid not to take out Joe. He's going to vote for Aubry, and Aubry is likely going to receive the most votes. If I was Aubry I would have thrown the challenge. It's not worth making people mad at this point. You take out Jason, Scot is mad. You take out someone else, it angers the others because they deserved to be there. But definitely an intriguing twist. I wonder if it will actually impact anything.

And in Jeff's interview with Dalton, he said there was a twist AND a first. Whether that's the same thing is unknown, but I wonder if we have two people tie in the final votes.

Michelle made a good decision. Hurts Aubry's game for sure, but like Neil said, I don't think she'll win anyway.

And how Jeff said there will be a special guest - it's going to be Mark the Chicken.

Wow. What an *******.

I like Michelle.
You should see the Final Tribal if you think that's bad. The classic is Sue Hawk ripping apart Kelly Wiglesworth from season 1. There have been some cutthroat jury members. Another intense was Trish from season 28 and Reed from season 29. I'm sure there are others, but I can't remember at the moment.

Michelle has been an underdog most of this game. I can appreciate that

The way these questions are going, it seems like Michelle is on the outs. They don't respect her "game"
Michelle is getting a weird edit. She's been the coattail rider of the season, but she is being given an edit that makes her seem like she's overcome obstacles. Stephen Fishbach, a two-time former player and Survivor superfan, seems to think she's getting a winner's edit. I hope it's not true, because I don't really respect the coattail rider's game, but it definitely could be. I think Aubry took a lot more heat than she deserved for her game. She's not an all-time great player, but she was the best player on this season. IMO she deserves to win.
