Survivor 20: Heroes Vs Villians..:D

No surprise last night. You knew Randy was first on the block. Of course, I think he is 100% right that Parv should have went home. She is dangerous.

Good to see the Heroes kick some major booty in the challenge.

Overall, I didn't think it was a great show.

And you can already see that they aren't going to vote Russell off next week. They don't ever foreshadow things that much. Just like with B-Rob collapsing. It was part of the show, but didn't really effect anything. It was all for the Drama. Same with Parv last night. She was a lot of the focus of the show, but the obvious was Randy and he is gone.

I agree that it wasn't a great show this week. (just watched it on DVR last night) I was kind of wondering why Randy was there in the first place...as I said before, he was an a$$hole on his season but didn't do anything "villainous" so to speak. I love how all the men on the Villains claim that Parvarti's feminine wiles don't work on them, yet they all seem pretty much under her spell. I have a feeling Tom's days are numbered on the Heroes side, which is too bad as I really like him. I wish Candice would go. Again... why is she even there?? I wasn't a fan of Russell hiding the machete. I know that was his schtick in Samoa, but these people have all played the game before and I'd like instead for him to try something new. We shall see....

The chat with Randy on Friday afternoon was as bad as the show. A lot of "No Comment"'s from him and just real a$$holish answers to some of the questions.

The next person to go needs to be Courtney. I can't stand to look at her disgusting anorexic body another week and it's an embarrassment to the show. :hurl:

I'm so happy JT voted the way he did! It would have been depressing to see Colby or Tom to go. And LOL at Russell being the only villian looking for the idol. I would LOVE to see him go home! He thinks he's so sly!

Oh my God I know!
Seriously..it is a given that you will lose weight on Survivor she really should not be allowed to play..has to be some health problems hapening there!

Yeah..Russell is not going to do that great this season..I love him but he needs to chill out a bit...and he could have waited until they were sleeping to try and find the idol..like they would not see he was going to look for it...:hammer:

I am still not even sure of who I am really rooting for yet!

I know! What the hell was he thinking? He just decides to announce that he's taking a walk, right after they read the clue about the idol? He's too cocky this time and screwing it up.

I know!...I was screaming at the screen like he would hear me!

He will be gone soon..which makes me :( but he needed to chill out a bit..especially when playing with these people!

I missed the first half of the episode. So, now I know why Russel is getting on Boston Rob's bad sad. I was glad to see Cirie go. I really can't believe she was a hero in the first place. She is such a manipulator.

I agree, Dana. I don't know who I am rooting for yet. I like so many of them. I'm even beginning to like Boston Rob.

I dunno...I think Russell knows exactly what he is doing. He always had the target on his back in the last show, but knows how to divert things. If he finds the idol, he has the power to use it to vote out one of his enemies. If he doesn't then he can always create havoc some other way. It's a gamble no question. But the way he finds them, he can do it. He will use the others against each other.

I do hope he stays in the game a while. He makes it fun to watch.

And Kudos for the great camera work again...especially during the slip and slide challenge.

The thing is..they are going to think he has the idol even if he does not..unless one of them find it and will vote for him..so he will either use it or get voted out if he does not have it.

I think he is a bit panicky this time and needs to calm down.

I think another big difference is last season he basically intimidated everyone. He's playing with the big boys now (well, Boston Rob), and they aren't going to be bullied around. Last season when he wore the hidden immunity idol around his neck, he only did it to intimidate the others. It was pretty obvious that he wasn't going to play it, and I think that should have been the time to get rid of him. This season though he's playing against some people who won't hesitate to write his name down.

Yeah he should know better than to try and play these games with Boston Rob watching.

Also, the thing with burying the machete last week didn't work out so well, huh? Seeing as they won a box of them from Sears this week.

As experienced as they all are, they are still doing dumb things. I still think he thrives when the camp is up in arms and he will use the idol(or threat of it) to swing votes. He creates the chaos which overshadows him...he deflects and stirs the cr@p. The Machete trick didn't work this time though.

I don't understand the B-Rob love and worship? It's too early to get rid of the strong players, but if any go it should be him. He's the snake and they all know it.

I have a feeling the useless Sandra will be the next villain to go. She got coaches panties in a bunch and he will push for her...just watch.

Jerri Hates Parv, so keep an eye on those 2 too. I have a feeling Russell will be used as a smoke screen to blindside someone else. They will make him think he is going to go to flush the idol and take out someone else.

I was also glad to see Cirie go. She was definitely on the wrong tribe. I hope Colby and Tom can stick it out for awhile. It was a shame that Tom had to use the idol at the first Tribal Council after finding it. Did you notice at the end when they showed next week's previews, Candice is telling the camera: "I think I want to work with Colby and Tom". :hurl: Please. She is a complete scrambler and is screwed now that her partner in crime (Cirie) is gone. As for the Villains, Coach's meltdown was, um interesting. He and Tyson had quite the moment. Russell needs to stop freaking out. Rob has him pegged and will be gunning to get rid of him. Things should start getting very interesting in the coming weeks.

I was sorry to see Cirie go, because I've always found her to be funny and smart. She has always been the puppetmaster, but a down-to-earth, clever one.

I'm enjoying this season more than the other all-starish seasons. It's easy to know who to root for - Boston Rob. I liked him on his previous seasons, and I liked him on The Amazing Race. He has a quick, sharp mind and works well under pressure. Russell may be as smart and charming as Boston Rob, but Russell has no sense of how he is perceived by others. He's not as disconnected from reality as Coach, but he's out there a bit.

That said, I'm not sure what the Villains are thinking by just letting Russell look for the Idol. Maybe they're doing some group searches, but we're not getting to see it. If Russell finds the Idol, he has one chance to pull a couple of people to his side. I think he'll survive that vote (only by playing the Idol), but get the boot the next time.

It was interesting that during Coach's pity party, Tyson actually gave him sound, truthful advice. It almost sounded like Tyson really cared. It was oddly touching, given some of Tyson's past nasty behavior.

Ultimately, I think the core power alliance is Boston Rob and Sandra. I think Coach, Tyson, and Jerri are in the inner circle. That puts Courtney and Danielle as outliers, with Parvati and Russell as the (potential) axis alliance.

I'm curious as to why Courtney didn't bother to put on even a little bit of extra weight before going on the show. Maybe she took it literally when the producers told her that she was going to be a background Villain, thus they expected her to be a two-dimensional character. :D

I also found that very strange! It's like someone said earlier....they're showing "the other sides" of all these people.

I'm not a fan of the extreme physical challenges in Survivor and tonight's episode reiterated my point. Why run the risk of someone getting hurt like that? Also not sure the right move was made tonight in the Tribal vote.
(trying not to spoil stuff for those who haven't seen!)

I'm not a fan either. I think the only reason they have those challenges is in the hopes that yet another waifish will be exposed.
