I think Sandra is good..

Rupert is annoying..not fond of him at all this season..he gets mad because Candice sided with the villians but then does it himself..and the way he looked at Russell..idiot..Russell is not worried about him.

These people know what the game is about..even if you have not played before and have watched it..you are doing WHATEVR it takes to win.

That is the main reason Russell will not win..the jury takes it all personally when you should not..award who played the game the best the prize and aknowledge that hey..I did not play as well and that Russell may have lied to me but he wants to win the money like I do..I was the fool...granted Russell should know that already considering that is why he lost last time...but still.

I still think it will be Russell and Sandra inthe final and that Sandra will probably win..

If Sandra or Parvati can win, they'll be the first two time winners of Survivor. Did anyone notice Colby during Tribal? He was looking at his feet most of the time. Is he sick?

No, he gave up a long time ago and is skating by..he did not want to be a part of any of that last night as long as he was safe.

He is a disappointment this season..

He will probably be gone next..then Jerri..

I hope Colby is just sandbagging, because it would be sad to think he is really that inept at every aspect of this game. The guy was an immunity monster in the Outback, and this is his third time on the show. He's getting worse each season!

At this point, I'm rooting for Sandra.

I had some time today so I went to cbs.com and watched most of the previous footage they had from Ponderosa(the place the Survivors who got voted out and are on the jury go). And if what they are saying on there is true, Russell will not get a single vote if he makes it to the end. They hate him, with a passion. They all keep hoping he was the next one out so they could just see his face and all then walk away and not welcome him in. It's obvious they will not vote for him because they have all been there and can appreciate his strategy, like I had hoped. They can't stand him. They rip on Colby because he is basically useless. Funny stuff.

It should be interesting Sunday night.

I expected that..and that is what I hate about the game..the fact that these people play way too personal in a game that should not be at all..

The good thing is that even though he may not win..he out survived them all..because he is the better game player..he will not win though because they are bitter and jealous that he beat them.

I also did a search on the Survivor "boot list" which is a supposed leaked list of the survivors and the order that they go out. So far the one I saw is 100% right on. They all went out in the exact order listed. If you want to see who they say the winner is, just google "Survivor Boot List" and take a look.

While I admire Russell's execution of his strategy, his strategy is a runner-up strategy. You have to not only outwit, outplay, and outlast, but you have to do it in such a way as to not tick off the jury. A winning strategy has to account for the fact that the jury is going to be a bunch of bitter crybabies. As sad and unfair as that is, it is foreseeable. Those same jury members, were they watching the show on TV, would probably be "voting" for Russell. But as one of the pawns in his intimidating, aggressive, gloating strategy, their egos will not allow them to reward him.

Make no mistake, I love watching his balls to the wall moves and obnoxious interviews. He makes great TV. But people who have won in the past, Parvati and Sandra to name two, have found more subtle/agreeable ways to manipulate their pawns.

I see a huge part of the game is not ticking off the jury. Otherwise, why have the voting jury? Just like in real life, how to get ahead in life while having to choose your words and actions wisely.

Well, it was a fun season down to the end where it was inevitable that Sandra was going to win it. While I respected her in your face play, I also hated how useless she was in every other phase of the game. Russell had it right that she was "rewarded" for not fulfilling her goal in the game which was to get Russell voted out. I posted it the week Courtney went home that is should have been Sandra. She proved she was much more dangerous. I'm afraid we'll see more like her since she is now the only one to win it all twice.

It was funny to watch Russell about to explode again when he knew he wasn't going to get a single vote. I will miss his antics. But G-X is right. His strategy isn't a game winning one. It will get him to the final 3, but never in the winners circle for the reasons mentioned. But hey, he did end up taking home more $ than Parv did with that extra 100 grand bonus. He has now earned the #1 Villain ever title.

Can't wait for Nicaragua...agua.

I am a big Survivor fan, Russell only played part of the game....He forgets about the most important part of the game....the "end game" its about the last man....or woman standing...sure he gets to the final. But so what. Its like who did lost the super bowl two yrs ago? He is always playing for second. Most people think..."why dont they get rid of him?" The best stratagy is to keep him....who ever goes up against him will win.

Sandra won not because of her superior game play....it was because she was the least hated. Pavorti was hated because of her involvement with Russell.

Two things that were just too funny from the final....when Sandra burnt Russell's hat and the look on Russell's face when he releaizes that he isnt gettiing a single vote.

I think the entire cast....crew and anyone involved with the show is totally Russell"ed out. You wont see him back on anytime soon. Infact I think there will be a new generation of players comming in. Alot of these past CM's are getting up in age and it is showing. Dont look for any "All-Star show anytime soon.

Sandra is the best Survivor player ever...why?imple she's won twice. Next Pavorti...she has one once and made it to the finals twice. Although Russell might be one of if not the most memorable he isnt no where near the best player....the object of the game is to....out play....out wit....out last. He did two out of three.

Finally got around to watching the finale last night. I'm always so sad when a season is over.

I was rooting for Russell the entire game, he was just so fun to watch....BUT then he went and acted like a total jerk during the finale. I'm pretty sure he was supplied with a bit of alcohol before the show....

My husband was so irritated with Sandra the whole show. To him, the fact that she didn't ever win a single challenge made her useless. Do I think she should have won? Eh, personally I think Parvati should have won. She aligned with the right people, had Russel be the villain when someone had to be, and won challenges when her butt was on the line. She knew when to be charming, when to scheme and when to make her move. There's a reason she's played more days than anyone else ever in the game.

Counting down the days till Nicaragua begins! Till then, I'll be waiting for BIG BROTHER!! :p

Alright...I'm already having withdrawls without Survivor. It's weird not being able to talk about Russell on Friday's. Waiting for the "chat" with the ousted Survivor. All of that.

Nicaragua...agua!!!

I actually missed the finale and reunion show last Sunday, but saw it last night. I've never missed a live finale, so it was interesting to watch knowing the ultimate outcome. Sandra's line at Final 4 time was great and prophetic - "Russell doesn't think I'll get any votes, but I don't know about that."

I've said all along that Russell was playing at a huge advantage, because none of the other castaways had seen his season. However, I now see he had one key disadvantage: he didn't know how the votes in Samoa went down. He thought he had all 9 jury votes, but only received 2 (and 1 of which was Shambo, so that one sort of doesn't count).

Parvati, on the other hand, saw the votes going Sandra's way and tried to convince Russell of that. Parvati is one of the shrewdest players in the game and would have been a worthy winner.

Sandra, however, was a deserving winner. With absolutely no alliance to hide behind and no ability to win individual immunity, Sandra had to play every tribal council extremely carefully. She wanted to get rid of Russell, but voted with him virtually every time. It takes a very controlled, focused person to not overplay her hand and stay out of the firing line. At the same time, she knew the jury would be loaded with Heroes. She voted every one of them out, but went on to receive every one of their votes for the win.

On to Nicaragua!
