We are surprising Ds#2 with a trip for his birthday in March. He is a picky eater only eats pizza,hamburgers and nuggets at Disney. I want to do some seat down restaurants.

So what ones would be great?

The fare at all the sit down restaurants is pretty much the same for kids...usually pizza or hot dogs or hamburgers. Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are both great buffets with lots of choices for adults and kids. My son pretty much just ate grapes the whole week. The staff at restaurants are very accomodating and will work with you. I'd pick restaurants for you then just know that it will work out with his food!

Nearly every TS restaurant will have items like that on their children's menus. Disney is great like that. You can dine on Grilled Wild Boar Tenderloin at Jiko and your son can have Tomato and Cheese Pizza at the same place.

I have looked at the menus. It is just so hard to choose. Be much easier if I was taking my oldest. He would eat steak at every place.

I'd say a fun atmosphere like Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's would be good.. plus, that way, he can try something new if it strikes him. The buffet style is good for that.. and desserts..

How old will he be?

As stated most of the kids menus serve what your DS likes to eat, however some restaurants that may be enjoyable for the dining experience as well that I can think of off the top of my head are;
Whispering Canyon in Wilderness Lodge
50’s Prime Time Café in DHS
The Rain Forest Café 2 locations, DTD and DAK
T-Rex Restaurant at DTD
As mentioned The Character buffets

When my DS was little we had lunch at the Brown Derby he had chicken noodle soup with Mickey pasta, a hot dog and ice cream with Oreo crumbles gummies and a Toll House Cookie. He is a teenager now and still remembers that lunch. I’m not sure if your DS would like that but I wanted to mention it.

Enjoy!

If your child only likes pizza, hamburgers, & nuggets you are in luck!
Many of the restaurants serve that type of food on the kids' menu.
