"Sunshine Seasons" - New Land Restaurant Description

I like this new concept. It is nice to see different menus being offered at the theme parks. Not every place has to offer chicken fingers, hamburgers, and hot dogs. I like how they are incorporating the seasons into each menu.

Before bashing the concept and the food, I think we should all give it a try first. It seems as though they are really trying to somewhat stick with the original theme of The Land.

Am I the only one who realizes that soup will be sold in the The Soup and Salad Shop? Why would they have more than one soup spot?

Sounds pretty interesting to me. I liked the idea of the old Sunshine Season Food Fair, but never had any food that I really enjoyed, so I'm interested to see what I think of the new food offerings. I like the theme idea though--works well with the balloons.

Perhaps Innoventions West's dining area might add some pasta and pizza fare... like it used to offer.

No kidding. Something needs to be added over there or open the Odyssey back up. Help the FW dining crowds over at the Electric Umbrella.

LWTL retheme?????

A little off topic, but does anyone know the extent of change to LWTL. I know the green houses are staying, but what about the rest of it. I kept on hearing about a total retheme of the pavilion to a travel agency, so that got me nervous because LWTL is one of my favorites. Any input?

I dunno...sounds like this may be more appropriate...

Spring: Salads, Sandwiches
Summer: Ice Cream, Burgers, Hot Dogs, etc.
Autumn: Turkey, Pumpkin offerings, squash, etc.
Winter: Soups, Cocoas, etc.

:lookaroun

Now, back to reality...I approve so far!

Living with the Land will pretty much remain the same as I hear it. This is one of the few attractions I'm "totally blind" on (I haven't been to Lake Buena Vista since December, so I've had to rely on 'secondary sources' if you will) - but from what I HAVE heard, the ride will have a totally revamped queue area with refurbished scenes. Likely, the mural will be replaced. . . as could the opening and closing scenes.

There IS a possibility that the Cast Member narrator will be replaced by a recording.

As for Travel Agency, I have heard something to that extent. But it looks like Imagineering's also working with the seasons motif... let's hope it ties in wonderfully.

I did hear that palm trees were going to be installed in the pavilion by one source... hasn't been backed up, though.

Soarin' is now an airport... and I HOPE the "Biomes" we were promised will exist in the queue.

Add Nestle Cookies to the Winter Menu, and I'm nominating you for WDW Dining President. :D

By the way, does anyone know if Garden Grill will be receiving any changes (such as its name or the food they serve)? My family loves the Garden Grill since the first time we went there in 1998.[/QUOTE]

I was wondering that myself. Does anyone know ?

Perhaps, but he's missing the best thing at the Land... the Mickeyroni and cheese. ;)

If they don't have that when I go back, someone's gonna get hurt.

What about the potatoes? I used to get a cheese and bacon baked potato everytime I went. :( This does sound great though, so it might be worth it. :slurp:
