I highly recommend it. We have a blast at ours -and you don't have everyone crammed into one little room. We wash our clothes there, so we don't need to pack so much, and we don't have to worry about who's p e e d in our pool!

It is an option for me but not my dream.:brick: Ya'll must think I am nuts. :hammer: :hammer: I am and my family thinks so too.

I know - there are still some TS restaurants at WDW we've been wanting to try, hence our going for the dining this time around. But really, after this trip, I can't think of any other restaurants onsite we absolutely MUST try. Exception to that might be Le Cellier. And having a washer/dryer on vacation would be wonderful - I wouldn't have to wait till I'm home to face it. Not to mention the pool issue. :lookaroun The townhomes even have a little splash pool in the patio.
By cutting a few corners here and there, going to WDW won't be any more expensive for us than heading for a beach somewhere.

The way I look at it is like this, but of course not everyone is like me: we have NEVER stayed in a deluxe resort...only in Yacht Club over 15 years ago. We would like to, but even with moderates we don't use all the amenities. We stayed at POR in May and never used the pool, and never used the boat to DTD. We basically had no time and no inclination to. We would rather spend the money from Deluxe resorts on food, souvenirs, and repeat trips, which is why we always do values. We've done moderate recently because we have no other choice and the prices are reasonable. But I'd feel it would be a waste to stay in a deluxe unless you really are going to use the amenities. One day I'd love to do that, but for right now, I prefer my repeat trips on a budget

Even with sit-down restaurants, we're just starting to do that because of my DDE card. Before that, we've always done counter service
I agree wih you there- we've stayed at the GF and at the Y&B club when our friend who was a chef there used to get some amazing deals for us, but I'd never pay the outrageous prices they charge for them now - it just wouldn't be worth it to us. and as far as dining goes, I don't need a TS meal every day. We usually plan for one, and when we do, it's usually for a latelunch so we save $$ that way too.

I haven't left home since I got back from work.
Even too hot for the pool.

I wish we'd get some.
We had some rain early this morning, but all that did was make things steamier.

I don't know if the temp's improved any, but our grass surely needed it. There's brown everywhere, and I know the farmers around here are feeling it. The corn isn't nearly where it should be this time of year.
