Based on the condition it was in a bit over a week ago, I doubt they could open it if they wanted to...The middle theater cars were removed for the majority of the time, with only one working on one cycle (the back one, making for a really weird ride experience in the front row), the lighting failed to come up...at all...when entering the swamp, many of the movies were out of sync across the screens, one of the screens in the preshow was massively blurry to the point of being virtually unwatchable, speakers were buzzing as if they had blown...
Im guessing with the very advanced knowledge Disney had that it was closing, they decided to take a hands off approach to show maintenance and let the ride decay until closing...why waste money on basic show upkeep, when you know its dead in a few weeks anyway? It was one of the rare instances of "bad show" that I had complete understanding for...the amount of work needed to get that thing back to fully functional would have been an unjustifiable cost for something that was marked for death.
Sad to see it in this state, as its a classic, but also cant expect a them to put it down for a refurb just to gut it either...
