I know it has been posted many times asking about dining suggestions but I was hoping you guys could help me out. My husband and are are about a week and a half away from being able to make our reservations and we are still trying to figure out where we want to eat. We know we want to try to get Cinderellas Royal Table and Rose & Crown. We are not into fancy places and are quite simple. We are very much burger and pizza people although we do like steaks and stuff like that too. And it is kind of difficult because we are not at all ones to plan, especially where we want to eat 3 months from now. Anyway if anyone could give us some suggestions on places that are not fancy and have good food. Preferrably something that has like steak or chicken in case the rest of the menu is too "weird" for our taste. Thanks

We have eaten at the following places and all of them have a simple menu. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but very good food.

At Epcot: LeCellier Steakhouse and Rose & Crown Pub.

At MK: Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, I believe dinner is served family style. We have also eaten at Tony's Town Square.

At HS: Hollywood Brown Derby, 50's Primetime and Sci-Fi would all be good choices.

Downtown: We enjoyed Wolfgang Puck's.

We have not eaten at any of the resorts but I think most of them have some great restaurant opportunities. I have made ADR's for Chef Mickeys and Kona for this Auqust.

Check out the menus, this helped us too plan our ADR's.

Have fun on your trip!!

Here are some of our favorites. They should fit into the type of food you like.

MK- Liberty Tree Tavern, The Plaza Restaurant- they have really good burgers and fries.
DHS- 50's Prime Time, Hollywood and Vine-Buffet
DTD- House of Blues, Rainforest Cafe, Fulton's- if you like seafood.

If you want to be a little adventurous try Boma at AKL. It is a buffet of African and American cuisine. My DW and I love it, it is one of our favorite buffets in all of WDW.

Have you looked at the menus? I know that sounds like such a simple thing but sometimes that's the best way to tell as views can vary on this sort of thing (I know because I'm a pretty picky eater with some food allergies thrown into the mix!) I can take suggestions from anyone and everyone but only I will know by looking at the menu if a place will work out for me.

I can suggest Cape May Cafe clambake (short walk to BC from Epcot if you're not staying nearby), Sci-Fi, 50s Prime Time, Liberty Tree Tavern and really any buffet. I have to disagree with the other poster who suggested Boma. I thought Boma was just okay but a little overrated (please don't throw things at me, Boma lovers!) My father, a very "meat and potatoes" kind of guy, really did not like Boma. He didn't find enough there and thought it was the worst meal of the week. He was able to find a few things but not enough to satisfy him, especially because at a buffet you usually want variety and there isn't much for a meat/potatoes/picky person to have. Cape May Cafe, on the other hand, was my dad's favorite meal of the week. Good luck!

Oh, the one thing at Boma that was great...the zebra domes! But after I found out you could buy them at the AKL grocery, the appeal of Boma dropped even more for me!

To each their own but Boma is my favorite restaurant on Disney property. I haven't been since 2003 but have craved it ever since.
