Stupid moments you got really excited for

Watching my 2 year old son sitting at the table coloring his Duffy at Epcot even though it took him forever and I and my boyfriend just stood there waiting in the Mexican Pavilion because he didn't want any help. He's a big boy and wanted to do it all on his own.

Silly moment/tradition that my cousins started years ago: Before we get to the Florida State sign, we "race" to see who is in the state first. To do this, the hubs and I would wait to the last second to reach our hands out on the dashboard the fastest and yell out "I win! I'm there first!". Even though we don't do this every time, it still brings me a lot of excitement on our way to WDW.

The first sighting of the monorail (and The Contemporary and the Magic Kingdom) while we're on the DME headed "home" to BLT...
(Just about 40 hours away from now!!!)
If you want to laugh, my dad when we were younger when we took the bus to MK as we pass under the bridge towards Contemporary he would always yell hold your breath because technically we were under water. As corny as this is the 1st time I took my gf at the time now wife I said the same thing. Then proceeded to put face into palm realizing how I did it involuntarily. Same goes for the scene in GMR with Mary Poppins he would lean over and tell me not to look up her dress. Now whenever I see Mary Poppins thats what comes to mind. SMH

My daughter and I love that first deep breath of Florida air when we head outside the terminal at MCO.

Me too!!! LOL That's so funny.

I also get giddy when I hear the monorail. Especially when first arriving to the hotel that first morning/afternoon.
Also hearing the Monorail door chimes gets me all excited. Another stupid one I get is walking to the room the first day with our luggage or getting on the bellhop cart and riding to the room. I also get super excited when I hear the Ferry or Launch horns as well as the train's whistle and bell.

And this is going to sound really dumb, but there are birds in WDW that I have always heard, especially around the lagoon area. Not sure which ones they are, but they make a unique sound and hearing them always gets me excited.

Hearing thunder also amps me up at WDW.

And last but not least, hearing the Seven Seas Lagoon waves lapping along the Polynesian's shore after a boat passes by at night and creates a wake. ahhhhhhhh

The original Grand Ceremonial House waterfall atrium used to give me shivers when I would hear it. Sadly that is gone now so I am bracing myself for the eerie silence I will hear now inside there. Also, walking outside the doors of the Poly and feeling the Florida heat and humidity while hearing the Polynesian music in the background while also hearing the waterfalls and monorail nearby. Gets me in the feels. The smell in there also is unique, a musty, watery and floral smell. Mmmmmmm I can not wait!!

Also seeing the blue skies of Florida once off the plane. We don't seem to have those blue skies in Northern, Virginia. This of course is when it is not thunder storming in Florida.
