Stupid moments you got really excited for

When we used to drive from Seattle to LA, we would hit the rest stop at the top of the mountains looking down into the LA basin about midnight with all the lights twinkling in the distance.
The first moment when you could hear the piped in music for DL.
My new moments include, the first time having to open a door with the MB. That very first moment as soon as you cleared security and was in the park, and your mind is probably going "do I want to go clock wise or counter clock wise?"
The first Memory maker photo of the day.

Ok, this one is very VERY stupid, lol, but it gets me every time. The soaps in our bathroom at work smell just like the ones used in the bathroom at The Rain Forest Cafe in AK. That smell just gets me so happy and lost in the moment of "oh, how I wish this was the Rain Forest Cafe bathroom"...

Who else takes a deep breath when you first enter the Magic Kingdom and gets excited because you smell the Confectionery on Main Street, raise your hands.

I think one thing that us Disney fans have in common is that we all notice little things that make Disney great. Things most people don't notice (or don't notice that they notice!) like the smells, sounds, landscaping, or signage.

Disney knows the power of these things to attach to good memories. I know that's what keeps me going back to the parks.
Couldn't agree more! Growing up I think I took these things for granted- as a young girl, then a teenager & even in my early 20's I was so anxious to just get to the next attraction- never stopped to take in the all the little details. Now that I'm heading down at 30 years old, I plan on taking it all in:D

Just in case you didn't know, it's available on YouTube.......My kids request it all the time before bed and they have the hardcover book to follow along. :inlove:

Thanks. I knew about that, and tried to stream it on the tv for my kids as a surprise once. Instead of getting excited, they got really upset with me. They like having that as a special thing they can only see at Disney World. Oops!

Ha Ha! Maybe that was an attempt to get you to book another trip! :hilarious:
