Oh god let me begin. "Welcome home" is always a welcome sound. Hollywood Blvd. performers are always worth a few minutes of time, especially the shell game guy and policeman/talent agent duo. But the kicker is always seeing "our girl" (as my family and friends call her) host Must-Do Disney.

Me! I also freak out when the skunk smell cokes on in Figment, since I just like the smell of it.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I get excited when I hear the music before the Duffy good night story.

Seeing the giant WDW sign on Osceola Pkwy...the front desk at our resort...Stacey on the resort promos...and the narration on the busses..."Welcome to the WDW transportation system...we're on our way to the Magic Kingdom"...!!!

I literally get butterflies when we pass under the Welcome Sign on the entrance road. As well as when I enter Magic Kingdom early in the morning and walk down Main Street on crisp, cool, sunny day. I also get excited when I notice castmembers tags say they are from Louisiana

I think one thing that us Disney fans have in common is that we all notice little things that make Disney great. Things most people don't notice (or don't notice that they notice!) like the smells, sounds, landscaping, or signage.

Disney knows the power of these things to attach to good memories. I know that's what keeps me going back to the parks.

I have strong associations with the smell of certain attractions -- so my first whiff of "Haunted Mansion mildewed orange" or "Pirates of the Caribbean dank" always gets me ridiculously excited.

I loooove all the Disney smells! And smell is one of the strongest triggers of memories.

Don't forget that dank water smell on the Jungle Cruise too, in the temple with the monkeys!

I get excited when I hear music from an attraction from my childhood, even if it's closed now. In the Tomorrowland music loop, I've heard the themes from "If You Had Wings" and an earlier version of Carousel of Progress.

I don't think most of this stuff is stupid, it's really sweet!

A stupid thing I get excited about is the themed trash cans. They're so cool! They're just trash cans, but so fun and pretty!

Also the chocolate croissants in Future World. They don't taste any different from any other chocolate croissant, but I can't leave without eating one, specifically from Epcot.

FYI...WDW used to sell 4 different trash can ceramic salt & pepper shakers...Adventure, Fantasy, Tomorrow and Frontierland cans...I just checked the website before I jumped on, but they are no longer available...(check eBay) A little piece of Disney with every meal at home!!

Oh, and how could I forget those purple road signs once you're on property!

My family always eats at 50's Prime Time and we love it when they come out and yell "K****** family, your dinner's ready!"

The first thing we rode the last time I was at MK was Pirates. Just the smell as soon as we walked in the building made me giddy! Same when I step into HM.
