I don't think many will see the STK sign in the back, at this angle it appears just for the people on Morimoto Asia's upper deck.

Thanks as always for your pics! I wonder what the holdup is on the facades of this building. They seem to have been in a similar state for quite some time. Like, did they forget to order the fake windows or something? Just seems strange to me.

Photo update as of Friday, April 8. The windows (probably faux, but not sure) have been installed at STK. This side of the building overlooks the Edison, with Lake Buena Visa in the background.

Yeah, and I am not understanding why they are fake. I though the second level would have seating so I don't see why they wouldn't install windows.

I saw some pictures which show another building going up between the steak house and the water. Isn't that going to block views of the spring?

I've pretty much been loving every new and/or renovated building going up in the Springs so far. But, I have to say, STK is by far the ugliest. How's everything else look so awesome and this one just look like a turd?

Bathrooms actually. If you look back at the construction photos you can see the plumbing rough in before they closed in that side of the building.

If you look back through the construction photos these "windows" have been fake all along. The framing wasn't made to accept window openings and the sheeting just passes through the openings. The greenish color was just the paint or sealer they applied to the building before they started gluing on the fake brick.
