I certainly does seem to be random, regardless of crowd size.

Both Tomorrowland Terrace and Tortuga Tavern were open for our trip last week. Their menus are... disappointing. Even by MK standards.

Best QS meals of the week came from Columbia Harbour House, Flame Tree, and Be Our Guest.

The ridiculous number of snack credits now includes with the dining plan made the Flower and Garden Festival a blast. We started the week with 42 credits!

I had never done the Flower and Garden or the Food and Wine festival before last week and I gotta say, outstanding food. Perfect tapas size.

Been at WDW all week and the lines at MK have been crazy long in tomorrowland. It is horrible horrible how bad it is right now and the park is really not that crowded. People will say it is fastpass but that is not the issue. Even mermaid had a 60 min wait this week. The other parks need stuff open asap. And MK needs to more rides.

I've never understood why people from out of town would want to go to the parks during Spring Break knowing how busy the parks will be. I get the kids are out of school, but if I'm paying Disney $$$'s to go to the parks for 3 or 4 days, I'm waiting till summer or fall when at least the crowds will be a little more spread out and it won't feel like I'm paying all that money to wait in line for 60+ mins for IASW or Dumbo. Now locals cramming the parks I get, especially AP's, but if I'm traveling from out of town Disney is the last place I'm going this week. Also I'm wondering how much of a spike the parks are getting due to Wrestlemania in town this wknd, that event I'm sure is drawing big numbers to Central FL.

It's the Tomorrowland Terrace, and it was open all last week and the week before. True though, it is seasonal.

Didn't notice it open this week but Diamond Horseshoe was open today. I don't know if that's still seasonal or not though, I'm assuming it is.

I never go during spring break and never stay over because I'm "local" but this was spur of the moment ... crowds actually aren't awful. But wait times are lol. I know that contradicts itself.

Spring Break is the only real time that schools/bands can have field trips to Disney during the school year, and college students having their vacations before finals. Summer is better, but it's harder to organise for a lot of groups.

Not sure why a family would go over spring break instead of the summer, though.

For people in the U.S. they like it because it is not as hot. That's literally the best reason.

Outside of the one trip, all of my family's Disney vacations have been in the winter, spring, or fall. My sister's dance troupe performed in Tomorrowland in June, and in terms of the weather, we were miserable. The wait times seemed to be longer in June than March too.

This area of the park needs update and bad. Loss of stitch even though it was blah is making this side of the park crazy busy. If your closing a ride great then get to work. If not leave it open to help balance crowds.
Agreed by the 50th this area needs a new stitch replacement and hopefully an expansion to the land as well. Also since the speedways in HK and Tokyo are closing I wonder if we will see our version follow suit. Or at least some updates to the speedway.

Stitch better be done before the 50th.... this area cannot handle this plus something else going down at same time.

They really should be ashamed to have an attraction seasonal, even Stitch. Why did they not immediately start work on it's replacement? Well, I mean, I know ... but this is kind of unacceptable anymore. JMO. They need to get moving. And yes I'm sure they have internal timelines and plans for things but that's not really an excuse.

I'm sure they're doing what they can right now to expedite the process. But they probably can't start work until the artists are available to design a specific aesthetic and color palette. Besides, it's not like SGE is a people eater. Now find another reason to hate Disney (today I saw one kernel of popcorn on the ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely unacceptable!).

LOL. That's cute. Considering I was just in the World. Relax man. We all love the place. We're not going out of our way to simply trash it  but I'm glad everything is sunshine and roses in your head.

Do you even read my posts? I've even said to others that sometimes you will see popcorn on the ground.

I forget that school's out for a lot of places ...
