It doesn't have to go agaisnt all the classics but it can certainly be considered one of Disney's gems it's a lot better than Alice in Wonderland and storywise, it's better than Sleeping Beauty...I stand by my opinion Lilo and Stitch is a great movieand all of youa re just blinded by the fact that you want Disney to always be this cookie-cutter image of perfect princesses and funny little musicals you can't take that a character like Stitch is actually liked by people. I'll even go on to say that Lilo and Stitch was Disney animation's last hit.

I can't stand SGE because they ruined one of the best NON-cookie-cutter, and certainly one of the most unique attractions at WDW because stupid parents couldn't understand that Alien Encounter was mostly for adults. They complained about it being too scary. THAT WAS THE POINT!!!!!!!!!!!! They basically toned the attraction down for the ones who want it to be cookie-cutter attraction for the kids.

And I like the Stitch character. But enough is ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We tried to line up for SGE on Jan 27th. We made it as far as the first pre-show. The pre-show video played and then nothing happened. Finally we were asked to exit the waiting area. Something wrong with the ride.
Flash forward to Feb 2. I finally see the attraction. Now I don't know if it was my seat but I was not feeling a whole lot of effects. People were screaming and fluttering around me and I was just sitting there. I don't know if my chair wasn't working or what. Also the supposed "chilli dog" scent didn't smell like that at all. I can't even explain what it smelled like, but it definitely wasn't chilli. Yuck.

When will management learn SGE was THEIR fault, not WDI? If the rumoured `downsizing` at Imagineering does come to fruition since TWDC need scapegoats for this attractions failings I hope as many of you as possible will be writing to Team Disney & Glendale. I will be.

We are not Florida residents who go to Disney all the time, we come once or twice a year. We LOVED Stitch and did not notice anything out of the ordinary. However, to hear most of the people in this dialogue, most of the ones who visited this attraction go just to see what is wrong. I did like AE, However, I also think Stitch is cute. If cannons don't go off, I don't notice it; if an arm does not move, I don't notice it - I do notice that Stitch's character is popular and that I enjoyed seeing him in person and enjoyed the ride. I think I am more than likely with the majority of visitors. Now if I went as often as some of you, I would notice other things. I know in our own Amusement parks closer to home, I notice is a ride is down, or if something isn't up to par with what is 'traditional' for that park - but remember, to most of the visitors - it is fantasy and we all need that.

I know a lot of people are not fans of L&S, but I have to say that Lilo is at least a character you have some feeling for. She's a brat, but we are given some insight as to why she is the way she is. I've read that Walt Disney himself found Alice to be a completely unsympathetic character and did not have a whole lot of faith in the film. I like both movies myself, although I have to agree, there is not much about Alice that makes me care what happens to her from one scene to another. I do know that a lot of parents take issue over the perceived Wonderland drug culture.

I visit WDW once every 5 years - if i`m lucky - but thats not the point. The problem is The Walt Disney Company would never have created a bad makeover of a popular attraction on the cheap in its heyday. The company has become complacent, standards have slipped, and show quality is suffering. If on my visit something looks tacky, cheap or dosn`t work then its a problem. I don`t pay $7000 dollars (as we did in 2001) for a holiday looking at cheaply built, poor attractions whose corners have been severely cut. 10 years ago, if something with less of an impact than the problems described here malfunctioned, it would be declared bad show, the attraction would call a 101 and be closed until fixed - there and then if possible, by the following day unless its a major. Guests wouldn`t normally see a known bad show item until fixed. The attractions themselves were well funded, designed and built and properly maintained.

Based on this, Stitch wouldn`t be such a big issue if it worked properly, and improved on its predecessor. Disney used to be reknowned for being the best bar none. For perfection. All the wrong decissions taken by management are starting to mount up and people are taking notice.

Were you leaning forward? Same kinda thing happened to me. I leaned forward the whole time taking everything in and kept thinking: "Huh...the 3D sounds aren't really working. (I had been on AE, so I knew kinda what to expect. It wasn't until the final few moments that I realized that since I was leaning forward, my head wasn't near the speakers of my chair, so that was the problem. I went on it again and leaned back this time. Sounds were much better and I liked it.

Was there 2/10 and saw no malfunctions...

I didn't realize there were more than one theater. The cannons were definitely working. The only thing I noticed was that the shoulder harness didn't come down all the way on my daughter's seat. It actually stopped right in front of her face. She is only 42 inches. She didn't really mind it though. It did lower at some point during the attraction because when I looked over at her when it was over, it was in the right position. We really liked it and were glad it wasn't so scary for our 5 year old who loves Lilo and Stich.

We had an amazing trip and can't complain about a thing.

Funny how Eisner keeps b*#@#ing about how bad the current attractions like Stitch and the new ToT in Ca are but he's the one who was in charge of the budgets. What an idiot! He can't even see that it was his own fault. Always placing the blame....Stitch is Eisner's mascot.

What makes ToT a bad attraction? Is this the consensus opinion? I've seen previews of ToT at WDW and I always thought I'd like to try it someday.

I can't say for sure if it is good or bad since I've never been to CA, but Eisner supposedly wasn't happy with the outcome of the attraction.

Lets just point out here Eisner was responsible for cutting the budget at DCA`s Tower of Terror. This is the one all the negative comments are about - not Disney-MGM`s.

The Californian version (looks on tape) to be a great ride - until compared with the original. Floridas IS superb, thats what makes DCA`s such a dissapointment; No 5thD floor - not lateral movement into and out of the drop shafts, and of course missing the 5th D`s effects. Too short a ride. With a ride in the wrong place - no garden, no big walk up to it, and a view of shed roofs from the top. Eisner wanted to know why all the bad publicity, and who`s fault was it.

I still haven't even seen this attraction. My last visit to WDW was in November. I visted Magic Kingdom that day and Stitch was running (it was before the official grand opening), but the standby line was too long. So I got a Fastpass that had a return time of like 4:00 or 5:00 in the afternoon (and it was around 11am when I got it). I went over to Epcot fromt here (it was the last day of the Food & Wine Festival). Was going to go back to MK and started to leave Epcot.... but then I decided I wanted to see another Off Kilter set more so I turned around and went back to World Showcase. LOL!

I do like Stitch as a character. I actually like him BECAUSE he's obnoxious and not cutesy/fluffy. I'm looking forward to seeing this Stitch animatronic in person (the video I've seen is very impressive), but that's about it. The show as a whole sounds like it really... sucks.

It depends on what you like -- I liked Stitch and this show and judging by the lines, so did others. People should enjoy what they like and not listen to others who don't like this -- personally, I like most of Disney, what I HATE is people who are rude about having to wait, not getting their way amd feeling their opinion should reflect everyone else -- while in line I encountered all - but to tell the truth, I just relaxed and enjoyed my day at Disney. Do the same, if you like Stitch, enjoy it, if not, find something else and enjoy that -- life is tooooooo short to dwell on Stitch who by the way is a cartoon character -- breath and relax -- feel the magic

I hate to be a stickler, but long lines don't always equal that people like the attraction.
