In that case, I hope he is never thawed out. Imagine his shock when he finds out that he went against his own words when HE built Disneyland. I don't believe there was a single shop (other then the Magic Store, maybe) that was a Disney operation. They were pretty much all third party owned and operated. Perhaps under certain Disney guidelines, but, Disney would have been foolish to think that he could dictate what specific items were sold in each shop. What they had to do was match the theme of the "store", nothing else.
I don't mind someone that is adamant about what they like, but, make sure your weapon is fully loaded with correct historical information before you start to argue the case. I can easily accept that you liked the old Bakery better, many people do, but, there is nothing out of line with this Disney policy since the day DL opened up. It may be sad that some miss the old store, but, an abomination it is not. The case of going against the original concept is totally without merit. In fact, when Disney got rid of everything and started filling all the stores with stuffed Disney Characters is actually when they went against the original concept.
They obviously made the decision to operate this location as a bakery for years. They were lured by the dollar to change it not considering their own concept.
I am dealing with what happened here and can not validate what you are saying from years ago. Maybe they realized years ago they started out wrong and made corrections along the way. Just because someone made a mistake doesn't mean that opens the gates to justify almost anything going forward.
