Starbucks among other new vendors at Disney

In that case, I hope he is never thawed out. Imagine his shock when he finds out that he went against his own words when HE built Disneyland. I don't believe there was a single shop (other then the Magic Store, maybe) that was a Disney operation. They were pretty much all third party owned and operated. Perhaps under certain Disney guidelines, but, Disney would have been foolish to think that he could dictate what specific items were sold in each shop. What they had to do was match the theme of the "store", nothing else.

I don't mind someone that is adamant about what they like, but, make sure your weapon is fully loaded with correct historical information before you start to argue the case. I can easily accept that you liked the old Bakery better, many people do, but, there is nothing out of line with this Disney policy since the day DL opened up. It may be sad that some miss the old store, but, an abomination it is not. The case of going against the original concept is totally without merit. In fact, when Disney got rid of everything and started filling all the stores with stuffed Disney Characters is actually when they went against the original concept.

They obviously made the decision to operate this location as a bakery for years. They were lured by the dollar to change it not considering their own concept.
I am dealing with what happened here and can not validate what you are saying from years ago. Maybe they realized years ago they started out wrong and made corrections along the way. Just because someone made a mistake doesn't mean that opens the gates to justify almost anything going forward.

Only a few cupcakes and cookies that you can get all over the parks..we all know about that including the OP @POLY LOVER !! 95%-98% of it is Starbucks garb! Nothing that makes it a "bakery". Nice try!! So that makes for no point at all sorry. Lol

YUM, that stuff looks so good I wish I could get some now, OH WAIT I CAN GET SOME ON THE NEXT CORNER. AND THE NEXT AND THE NEXT AND THE NEXT.

I just found this in my all of my local malls. I guess cinnamon buns are not unique to the former MSB.

Funny funny Yoda! Love ya but Again not just about the Cinnamon Rolls! Lol. There was many items that now you can't get elsewhere in the parks, AND again they took away all seating. And those are not like the ones the MSB had anyway. And I don't have a Cinnabon to go to in my city. Have tried them though while visiting elsewhere. We have their competitor here the other place can't even remember the name because I don't regularly eat them. Lol :)

Their delicious coffee cake always came hot, buttery and fresh (yes Starbucks has one not even the same) , they had several other cakes you could get slices of that are nowhere's else, hot fresh croissants (Again Starbucks has them but not even close) , and many other items I am not going to list every single one. They even had different pies that I remember sometimes. Etc etc. Have searched for the items and have not found anything that is close in flavor, freshness, etc. :)

Like I said but some folks don't want to hear that the cakes are shipped in some are frozen to the location to display in the case. Even Starbucks concedes they are not fresh baked on site. I posted the article way back in the thread about where they are made and how they ship them in. Look if these folks actually had the MSB baked items and say they are comparable to the Starbucks line then there just is no hope at all for them. I mean how can you argue with people that think frozen mass produced product are better than fresh hot baked goods
.
Maybe its just a sign of the times folks have reduced their standards and forgot what fresh tasting products are like.

I'm going out on a limb to say that the Starbucks phone center customer rep is about as knowledgeable on the inner workings of the park Starbucks just as much as a WDW Bus driver is
OP as noted in a previous post, also had a Disney rep call him and discussed the same issue. They actually reached out to him AFTER he talked to a Starbucks person. He did not have to call them, they called him. That does not mean anything necessarily either but obviously Starbucks rep thought they should reach our to Disney and then Disney reached out to the OP. Whether they blow it off or not, they at least called and acknowledged the concerns. :)

You are correct, I posted the link in an earlier thread and anyone can email them, they will respond. A credit to both organization they do reach out and want to hear your thoughts. Now like you say maybe they blow it off but somehow I think at least the message gets through. And you are also correct I spoke to Starbucks first and then they asked if it would be OK if someobe from Disney contacted me and they did. a great hand off between organizations.
