I snagged some FPs for Stars of The Saga during our trip. But I see we get Warwick Davis again for our week. Not that I didn't enjoy Life's Too Short on HBO, but he was just an ewok in Jedi..... Would have loved to attend a talk show with Frank Oz, but it appears that he will just be doing the parade?

Where did you find out who would be there during your trip? I got Stars of the Saga also, but can't seem to find out who will be there. It says the shows will take place in the Theater of the Stars. Where is that? Is it the Beauty and the Beast arena?

The theater it is in is located to the left rear of the Muppet theater and in front of Lights, Motors Action.

That's where it was last year, but it says the shows will take place in the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Blvd. I believe the theater behind Muppets is called Premier Theater. I could be totally wrong on this. I'll look again. Thanks.

Are all FP+ distributions already gone for Stars of the Saga on 5/17? It won't come up. I can't check 5/15 or 5/16 without cancelling my FPs in other parks.

When I click on change experience on 5/15 and 5/16 both the shows come up. I didn't click on them for fear I might lose the ones I have.

@ratherbeinwdw I just signed in and saw your question on the other thread...yes Star Wars Weekends shows USED to be in the Premier Theater but they are moving it this year to the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard where Beauty and the Beast is. BatB will have 3 morning shows on Star Wars days. I did read one blogger who said he thinks they didn't hand out any BatB fastpasses for Star Wars weekends so maybe everyone will be in the same standby situation if you were trying to see Beauty and the Beast that morning. I am not sure why they moved it but here is a Disney Blog about the locations and info by Shawn Slater, Communications Director for Disney...

and his earlier blog which mentions the new open air location...

You're referring to Stars of the Saga, right? I deliberately only picked one day for SWW -- Sunday. It sounds like you have FP+ for all three days in HS. I decided on AK for Friday and MK for Saturday, although I do hop to HS Saturday night for the H&V SW character dinner. Can't peek at Friday or Saturday in HS without giving up the FPs I already have.

I remembered you said that, so I was a little confused. I don't understand why they would move it from a comfortable, inside, cool, location to that hot, no back rest metal benches in an area with so little space. It was pouring rain last year in June during our second SWW, so having that indoor arena was very nice.

I know! But I just read where Shawn Slater, Communications Manager for Disney said on his blog it has more seating than the Premier Theater did. We are going the 3rd weekend so we are a little disappointed we won't have anyone big from the movies except Warwick Davis (ewok) while we are there. But maybe the crowds won't be as bad as other weekends.

Because of the location change, I updated my FP+ for ToT for the hour before "Obi Wan and Beyond".

I have them for two days--Friday and Saturday. We leave on Sunday. We always try to go the first day. It's a work day for the locals, so even though it's the first day, it's never been as crowded for us as the Saturday and Sunday of that weekend. We also make sure and do at least two days, because the motorcade has gotten rained out on us. As a matter of fact, on our June trip last year, it was rained out on Friday, but it did go forward on Saturday. We haven't had to deal with rain on our May trips, but you just never know. You can also wait in line. For one of the shows last year, we came straight out of the first show and walked across to the stand-by line and was able to get into the very next show. The line was already long, but there was plenty of room for everyone who was in the line. It was pouring rain so they lined us up across the way under the covered area beside Muppets.
Usually, if the show is full, they will put no availability beside the show on the MDE fastpass area. I just checked again and neither show has that by them. I did check pick new time and there is only one time available for the Stars of the Saga. It is 2:50. There are no other choices. I would check the other show on each day, but as I said, I don't want to take a chance that when I get to the last screen it says "nothing available" and I lose my times. I know that you can usually just click on cancel instead of update, but I'm afraid to take a chance. My son would disown me if I lost those two shows for him.

I know! Plus I read it has fewer seats so less of a chance for us all to get in. We are going the 3rd weekend so we are a little disappointed we won't have anyone big from the movies except Warwick Davis (ewok) while we are there. But maybe the crowds won't be as bad as other weekends.

EDIT-Someone else on the Disney website it had MORE seating?? If so, that would be a good reason.
It's hard to believe it has more seating, however, since they can make us shove together on bleachers, and they can't when you're in an armed chair, they may be able to put more people in there. The sound can't possibly be as good as it was in the PT. There will be so much outside noise and those loud fans won't help. And, what about all the stuff they had on the large screens? Some of the funniest stuff was video.

FYI for anyone just starting to plan...Any SWW FP counts as a Tier 1 FP so that means you can't get a Toy Story Midway Mania or Rock 'n' Roller Coaster FP if you get one for a show. (unless you luck up on obtaining a 4th the day of.) So if you are trying to alter one of your FP to get a show, you can only do it by altering your existing Tier 1 FP.

I agree about the noise hopefully rain won't blow into the theater- one Disney page said they might cancel shows there if it stormed and one page said it wouldn't. We went to Yellowstone National Park last summer and it rained and rained and we kept going. We will plan to do the same though hopefully we have better luck. But if a parade is canceled, that would be sad. We are doing Friday with the same thought that it won't be as busy as Sat or Sun.
Here are the estimated show times if anyone is looking for them:
Legends of the Force Motorcade 11:00 a.m.
You can get FP for these:
Behind the Force, Star Wars Rebels 1:45 p.m.
Stars of the Saga Celebrity Talk Show 3:15 p.m. (includes that weekend's stars except Yoda (Frank Oz) might have his own individual show)
An Ewok's Tale: My Short Story (Warwick Davis) 5:15 weekend 2 and 3 only
A Visit to the Maul Ray Park (Boba Fett) 5:15 weekend 4 only
A Conversation with Frank Oz (Yoda) 5:15 p.m. (estimated) weekend 5 only
Obi Wan and Beyond James Arnold Taylor 7:00 or 7:15 p.m.

*If it says "closed for refurbishment" when you try to get a FP then that means that show doesn't occur on the day you are picking.

Thanks. I'll probably just wait in line. Good thing I moved ToT to later in the day anyway. My schedule is pretty much set for Friday and Saturday with AK on Friday and MK on Saturday. (I'm there for a week with the last week of F&G earlier in the week.) But I guess I could maybe change out my Friday AK FPs to HS FPs to see what comes up. I don't have any dining reservations on Friday either, at least until the evening where I'm going to the Epcot Illuminations dessert party. It's not like I wouldn't get the same FPs for AK if I switched back. MK on Saturday might be a different story. Don't blame you at all for going any farther! LOL!

It looks like you are correct. It will be in the same theater as Beauty and the Beast this year.

Are any of you getting these fastpass+ bookings APs? Are you upgrading to a resort stay? I got off the phone Saturday with a CM and I was basically told I couldn't make any fastpass+ selections until 30 days out, and to "keep checking back after that 30 day window, because there may be some that open up." So basically I was told "tough luck go spend more money and maybe you could of gotten one."
