I am wondering if this year won't be the first year that the utilize fastpass+ for autograph sessions? The last part about standing by for more news about the autographs has me leaning towards that.

It seems like it is the same, or they're just putting the old method up in case a new method never comes about. This page has a lengthy description of what I believe is the method from previous years.

This might be an odd question but I haven’t brought anything to sign at a SWW in years so … are the talent that offer signatures willing to sign anything? Are they contract restricted on their own or from Disney to only sign things like head shots, action figures, official merchandise? I’m not talking about anything lewd or gigantic – but say I was willing to tote in a 1:1 bust of Yoda my Dad sculpted for Frank OZ to sign would they turn me away?

In most cases you can bring stuff in and they will sign it. As long as it is in good taste.

Oh just a little news they announced in the comments on the thread that neither Ian nor Frank will be singing. Just going to be in the motorcade and show. Also the fastpass selections are open, but if you're an AP you get to do it 30 days out. Thanks Disney! Thats sarcasm.

It depends on the celebrity. Most will sign anything. Some will only provide very particular things. Anthony Daniels was one such celebrity from what I hear.

Fastpasses for what? I just grabbed three for the stars of the saga show 42 days out. I have an AP, but the other two with me do not.

Yeah I just saw that - boo. I was even thinking of doing a 1 night stay for ease of travel and 60 day window if they did autographs via FP again.

Just got off the phone: All the autographs will be paper FPs this year, given day of before park open. They don't know how early they'll let people get them yet.

Just noticed on the SWW Disney page that they are offering one of the "Ultimate Day" VIP packages for this.

$399/person

What a rip, at least the last hard ticket thing they announced came with a cool popcorn bucket filled with popcorn. I was going to do this but for the $1600 it would cost, no popcorn is the deal breaker! I guess I should be happy because the last package was pay $250 for the ability to spend more of my money so this is a nice improvement. So never mind! I'm all in!!!!! o_O

"Is Obi Wan and Beyond" featuring James Arnold Taylor (a FP+ choice) the same as Stars of the Saga? The description is:

Stars of the Saga – A talk show and Q&A hosted by James Arnold Taylor—voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels—with a special pre-show featuring everyone’s favorite stormtroopers
