So is that scene in the ride?

This elevated area will have a two animatronics, Kylo Ren and possibly General Hux. They are expected to be talking about the sudden Resistance fighters that are attacking the ship. They have come to save the guests!

Recoil

From there, guests will sneak away from the meeting and enter the gun room. Like stated before, there won’t be any actual cast members in the attraction ride space, so these stormtroopers are most likely just for the commercial. However, the massive gun above them will be there.

...I've heard rumors of in-floor puck issues, but my contact at DL says nothing has been changed out in their ride building...
You might want to check with that source... DLR floors were completely destroyed to redo the in ground sensors...
I can confirm, as I mentioned on page 40... Contractors screwed up the installation of the tracks on both coasts and the floors had to be ripped up and re-done. DL was further along than DHS, which is why they're opening in January and December, respectively.

It feels a little odd that none of the protagonists seem to be getting AAs, though I assume they show up on screens/radio chatter since I recall it being confirmed the actors would be involved.

Yet the DHS opening of Dec 4 is about when it was originally projected to open.... So it couldnt have delayed it much if at all And other insiders have given a different reason for the delay in DL...

🤷🏼‍♂️ Nothin' but the facts, ma'am. Might not be the only reason, but it's certainly one of, if not the biggest reason.

Exactly. Imagine Carsland without RSR? Critter Country without Splash mountain? Frontier Land without Thunder Mountain? That is GE without ROTR. I'd wager that GE with only its 2nd ride is better than any of those other lands if they didn't have their headliner.

Land is so lifeless...and what on earth is with all those fans? Noise for wind? Some kind of experimental cooling? Star wars music is too much to ask for. I love the visuals but sorry right now diagon alley is still better its alive and its stuff i actually know and care about.

I’m still confused as to the timeline of this ride. Obviously we’ll know more once TROS is released but if Kylo is “redeemed” (as per rumor), then that kinda changes the story elements of the land, right?

If I had to venture a wild guess, it takes place right before TROS and/or during it and fleshes out a part the movie didn’t need to focus on YET ties into the ending by...

- force ghost Luke & Palpatine (preshow/postshow to throw classic fans a bone)

- some additional touches and/or live entertainment that helps tie it all together

I would think can be done without affecting the main storyline of the ride (for 15 days it’s open prior to the film).

Could this also be the (albeit convenient) reason to slash the entertainment budget and expense it “next year” since they know they will add these touches, why not just wait ?

Or I’m ignorantly optimistic 😜😜😜

So, this is now a movie spoiler thread, or are you just an @$(#%hole?

Except for the fact that he isn't a dead man walking per his own Twitter feed.

Sorry to tell all of you TLJ haters and trolls, but I fully expect for Johnson to be brought in for his trilogy. The film was a financial success and there is no bad blood between LFL and Johnson that I am aware of. From the leaks and rumors coming out of EP 9, the reshoots are happening as expected with any movie. Don't feed the trolls.

Sorry to tell you, but your perceptions are not a direct correlation with objective reality.

I’m not one to feed the trolls, but I don’t think a Johnson trilogy is a sound financial decision. While you may not entirely agree with the “Star Wars is dead” narrative the Fandom Menace is tirelessly pushing, the backlash towards TLJ is real and would certainly result in diminishing returns at the box office for any future Star Wars project Johnson is heavily involved in.
