Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

You know, they probably should have waited to invest in a SW land that featured only the new characters and timeline after they actually made the movies to see if people wanted it. Harry Potter land didn’t exist until that established world was a hit. Neither did the original Star Tours.

I guess we might actually get that OT refresh judging by the Rotten Tomatoes score for TROS.
Time will tell. Do the new characters stand the rest of time?
We will find out in the coming years.

because they don't exist.

Except they do exist... look at the ride through videos, you notice some poles hanging from the ceiling near when the troopers appear. Those are where the mechanisms to spin the LED through the air are.

Hope you're right and they're just turned off. I can't make out anything in the pic but I'll take your word for it. It was certainly supposed to be implemented so here's hoping. #soon!

I tried to find a not blurry frame from a few videos, but due to the movement in the section they are all kind of blurry. But hopefully me pointing out where they are helps you see the mechanisms when you watch the vids or ride.

I'm curious if anyone knows someone who has given a less than stellar review of RotR. I could maybe see thrillseekers being letdown that it isn't really much of a thrill ride, and that, say, Dinosaur is more thrilling. But I'd hope not, I hope everyone is able to appreciate what a marvel of engineering, design, and immersion it is.
