OK I couldn’t get on ride today as they ran out of Boardjng passes early and I had no idea what I was doing. We are staying at All Star Music and first bus isn’t leaving til 815, should I take a Minnie van to get there early enough to grab a boarding pass or should I be fine just taking the bus?

..not sure, You have to scan your magicband before you can do anything. You can;t just show up to the park.

Was watching a review and someone mentioned this is the first truly 360 attraction, where your view is never blocked and all areas of the ride are fully immersive and themed.

Id say POTC is also 360, and maybe Indiana Jones if we ignore the flat dart throwers and dark hallway.

Although this is the first ride I’ve seen video of where you can’t see any show lighting hiding above you or an exposed ceiling somewhere. Pretty impressive.

So I have to show up to the park in order to join a boarding group? If so how does that work with mid-day magic tickets? I'm going on Dec 10th, boarding groups would probably be all taken by noon.

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin was also designed in 360 since the guests control the direction of the vehicle and every scene has the potential to be seen from every angle. Rise is obviously a more ambitious take on that, but it is impressive the way Roger manages to illuminate everything in blacklight without ever exposing a fixture to the guests' eye.

Some said that the Kylo Ren animatronic was the Wicked Witch animatronic from the great movie ride.
The new Redd figure in Pirates of the Caribbean has been rumored to be her too.

I'm not especially inclined to believe it in either case if for no reason other than the fact that both Redd and Kylo (regardless of which Kylo animatronic is being referred to) were needed for attractions on both coasts. I suppose it's not impossible that they checked off one coast's AA by recycling the Wicked Witch into one of them, but in a case like that where you'd then still have to build a matching one it seems to make less sense. Though I suppose that depends a little on how "standardized" Humanoid A100 Animatronics are.

I also seem to recall hearing that the Kylo Ren animatronics are A1000 figures, like Hondo and the Shaman, rather than A100 like The Wicked Witch, though I'd love to hear someone with more intimate knowledge confirm that.

Well I’m not watching ride videos because I prefer to experience it in person but with just about all the review videos I’ve seen with people not being able to contain themselves with how fantastic the ride is, even though I swore off trips the rest of the year I think I’m going to get down there by next week.

Do we know if we’ll ever get all the stuff Chapek cut? Like is anything actually stopping the sit down restaurant and walk around characters from happening? Or heck even the Bantha ride? Is it possible this stuff is being held off till like 2022 or 2023 to rebuild hype with the land?

Based on the leak blueprints the Bantha ride is impossible to integrate at this point without tearing down 25% of the land.

So the ride will break down if some guests don't get in or out of their vehicle quickly enough to keep the pattern flowing? That is going to make operations very difficult. I will assume the cars will stop and wait to move to the next zone. I wonder how they handle disabled people.

No, 4 load stations, the system take whichever one readys next. Also the ride cant cascade, like a coaster or other rides. The show will just be bad when you stop in front of kylo for 30+ seconds because of load backups.

My only downside would honestly be some of the animatronics. None of them were nearly close to the same level as the shaman from Navi River Journey and multiple people I heard mentioned how janky they seemed to look. The faces of Finn and Hux in particular looked super off. Thank goodness Kylo wears a mask.

The Shaman is thee most expensive and advance AA WDI has ever made. You can already tell the Shaman took up a good chunk of the budget for River Journey. So no, I can't blame them for using the next best AAs WDI has for Hux and Kylo. Also they don't look janky in person.
