They opened 6:15 and the line didn’t reach the tickets booths
That’s weird they opened even earlier than normal if the crowds weren’t bad. Makes me rethink that “we’re opening for security reasons” jargon

Pro tip I just discovered, the trolley cart that normally serves beer and ice cream has coffee available if you don’t feel like waiting in the 30 min Starbucks line.

Question guys: I have been following this thread from the start. I am staying at the Boardwalk villas on Jan. 30th. What time should my family leave to walk over to Hollywood studios in order to get in before opening and get a boarding pass . . . not sure how long it takes to walk with a family?

Forgot to mention it's still at an 8:00 am opening time.

I am pretty sure the walk is about 20 minutes (with kids) but others could speak better to that. Rule of thumb if you’re walking I would say to be at security 30 mins before opening. That gives you enough time not to stress and get through a potential crowd.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that open of 8 is moved, so keep an eye on that, but I would approximate 50 mins before the open time to start walking over.

The reason for this story is simple - without having seen it personally, but having seen many others for many other attractions over the years, there's simply no way that such a document does not exist for Rise of the Resistance.
Indeed. However, each show and attraction now has this little nugget buried in its SOP:

”based on park conditions and other attraction downtimes, management reserves the right to continue to operate an attraction when the show scene that constitutes a downtime is inoperable”

Just finished, all shows and effects working, but did notice this strange FIRE sticker for the first time in the 2nd preshow

Yes
Omw to HS on a bus rn. We are running very late due to misinformation given at Shades of Green. We are all very excited.

Your welcome to PM me with any comments I can pass on. Sorry for the misinformation we try to make sure the staff is fully aware of what Disney shares with us. Sometimes its little to no information. Marathon Weekend always impact us. I do know those headed to parks this morning had to be driven to the GF and then hop on Monorails.
