If I recall, today is the last day before passholder blackouts, no?This morning was a $#@$show, avoid until after the marathon if you want your sanity.

I was in the very back of the line when park opened and it wasn’t bad at all. This morning was a $#@$show, avoid until after the marathon if you want your sanity.
Well all things considered they opened the park at like 645 yesterday.Well there IS a travel agency convention going on right now so I could believe it. However, it would be strange imo to go back to ‘normal’ tomorrow instead of sticking to the strict 7am boarding group start time from now on.
As we move through the holidays I’d be inclined to keep an eye on official posted opening times. Don’t assume what was yesterday will also hold today. And then apply what’s been learnt on this thread to that opening time.Dis Twitter is saying officially going forward BG and all attractions open at the posted park open. They will let you in earlier but you can’t do anything else other than collect IFO the Chinese Theater.
Im surprised it took them so long to rein this in.

Keep an eye on times, and also live reports, for the next month or so. Should someone be intending to rope drop.I guess they found out how expensive it is to fully open a park 2-3 hours before posted openings.
An 8 or 9 AM opening gives a lot more time for the bug fixing to take place too.

God forbid the place that makes you reserve a dining reservation 180 days in advance or a Fast Pass 60 days in advance gives you a clue as to when they're going to open up their theme park the next day.Keep an eye on times, and also live reports, for the next month or so. At 26 right now. As I sit here at work with BG 97 I feel like Mr. Incredible watching Dash in his race. Don't go too fast just a steady pace! How are the BG flowing now that the ride is open?
My only complaint is the raw deal resort guests got by not having resort transportation running early or inconsistent across resorts.
There you go again. Always following me around.
Let's see if you wake up early for Rise or sleep in when you get here next week.
To be ready operationally (call me old fashioned) means, that you would have announced ahead of time the process of using the boarding groups, you wouldn't need to change park hours on the fly and you give a heads up on when the actual pak opens. The ride itself isn't a concern with me, all high tech attractions will go up and down several times within the first few months, it's about the lack of communication from the beginning that is concerning to me. It seems as though they are in trial and error mode at this time.? It is almost running seamlessly....Every day is getting better with less and less breakdowns and more people riding............Not sure what you want them to figure out? This opening couldn't have worked out any better, especially when you factor in they opened it during the busiest time of the year.........I think they deserve a ton of credit for how they ahve handled it
To each their own, i'm not going to discount your opinion, you're certainly entitled to think that. I'd caution you though, this was not by any means a smooth opening, attraction breakdowns aside.really? Ummmmmmmm....The did announce boarding groups. They always have an official park opening time and groups always form earlier.................And Disney is VERY clear that their park hours are ALWAYS subject to change to accommodate unexpected circumstances.......None of this is new.......They had production delays in this ride and thats why it did not open in August when it was supposed to..........
I think it very easily could have been a lot worse though. 8 hour standby queues, no bathrooms, people stuck in line while ride is broken, etc.To each their own, i'm not going to discount your opinion, you're certainly entitled to think that. I'd caution you though, this was not by any means a smooth opening, attraction breakdowns aside.
