So you shift the 430 crowds to 6:30 it’s the same number of people. They’ll still let you in early but you can’t do anything. Not sure of why this wasn’t done in the first place. Oh that’s right they weren’t ready yet.

It's not a bad idea... Try to do this to stop people from arriving too early.
The problem today being that they didn't tell anyone until they were already there.

We ended up with boarding group 37. Not as good as BG 4 from yesterday but I will take it.

Holding here!! Dropped and picked up the past 20 mins. After the initial rush at 7am, I was getting a couple higher groups every minute.

Yes, up to 122. They got there about 7 so it appeared that was the highest of the backups.

I’m pretty sure normal groups ended at 107 and backup groups up to 122 got to ride yesterday unless more got let in after I stopped checking last night.
was way back behind ticket booth and hit the app @ 7:01

Disney has basically implemented a system where people who want to complain have way less ammunition.
If they open at 7am and boarding groups start at 7am, it’s guests fault if they get there at 6:45am and there’s eons of people in line ahead of them, who get into the park and book one while it takes you 20 minutes to enter.
Plus the lazy and entitled now have the same chance as the 4am crowd if everyone gets into the park prior to 7am.

Well there IS a travel agency convention going on right now so I could believe it. However, it would be strange imo to go back to ‘normal’ tomorrow instead of sticking to the strict 7am boarding group start time from now on.

That could account for no access beyond the Theater until 7am, but it wouldn't have stopped them from opening BG's earlier. They just wouldn't start calling groups until they were ready.

Finally Disney isn't acting like a permissive parent anymore! All the fools saying, "What can they do?! It's not designed for the catastrophic events that would unfold if everyone arrives at once!" can be quiet. Now if people show up at 4am they can stand and do the pee-pee dance for 3 hours waiting for the same boarding group opportunity as the ones arriving at 6am. All of this one-upmanship, "Oh you're getting here at 5am? Well watch this...4:30! 4:30? Ha! Take 4:00!" can finally simmer down.
