Is there a thread summarizing how the queue for this attraction works along with any tips??? Sorry, I haven't been on in a while, but I have a trip planned for late May, early June with friends and family. thanks!!

Yes
I left the park at 8 a.m. today. There was a substantial line at Guest Relations already. A CM said it was mostly guest recovery for people not able to get into a boarding group.

Anyone know what they're offering those guests?

Case by case, but the other day when I was there they were loading up a 1 Day PH on their MDE and telling them try again.

Easy to grab a photo when you break down right in front of it 😎

Does he want to ride the Song of the South ride?

I laughed at this, so thanks. The one point I'll add is that I love the "experience" of RotR but by the second or third time it gets pretty draining with all the pre-shows, staging, etc. At least SDD, Space Mountain, the Song of the South ride are all much easier to have repeated rides on. Sometimes you just want to get on a ride.

It will continually change as park ops figures out an ideal system. Guests still have to show up early for Pandora to avoid long wait times and it has been open a long time. This is proving more popular than FoP.

This isn’t an attraction that you’re meant to just ride. The pre shows are an extension of the ride and I’m enjoying taking it all in and noticing different things each time. So many rides in theme parks can feel short or rushed, this is definitely not the case and it’s refreshing.

I for one am tired of wasting 15 whole minutes on DL’s Pirates. Like most fans, I want them to shorten it to WDW’s superior version. Don’t even get me started on SSE. It should be a roller coaster. And PeopleMover? More like PeopleNapper.

And don't forget the Haunted Mansion. That room where you have to stand and it stretches. That pre show is an extension of the ride. Sometimes you just want to get on a ride.

Should I expect the 8am opening on January 10 (the day I’ll be at DHS) to stick? Think they’ll be trying to dial back the early openings at all by then?
No and no.

@relic827 observe the posted opening time the day before you arrive. And then adjust your arrival time accordingly following what people have said on this thread.
