They are already at group 56 though, and averaging 9.6 groups per hour. They would be over 10, if not for some downtime this morning.

I also wonder if they didn't plan to work on the ride tonight with the extended downtime. It's been performing pretty well the last few days, and seems like tonight would be a good night for the project team to get in and make some more adjustments.

They are still giving Fastpass and a one day DHS ticket for the next day if your "guaranteed" group is not called. If you're just dumped out of the queue, it's a Fastpass to come back later in the day when up.

Yep- I bet they just looked at what the cutoff has been in days past, subtracted a few, and decided to say anything above that arbitrary number isn't guaranteed to help improve guest feedback.
