Star Wars Park?

I wouldn't rule out the Star Wars park just yet. I've actually suspecting this, but kept quiet to avoid the usual ridicule here. If you think about it, a Star Wars park across the street from DHS on land reserved for DHS is easier to build than expanding DHS.

Here's the real clincher. How many acres is that site across from DHS on World Drive? It's 300-something, I believe. How many acres for new development have they just filed for? 300-something, I believe.
I wouldn't rule anything out.

Hopefully it gets fast tracked after they see how successful this movie does and tie the land and the next movie together. A little cross promotion.

The next movie after Ep7 comes out December 2016. If they wait to see the box office take on Ep7 it will be to late from them to have anything major open by the next movie. Besides, they really don't need to wait, the success of Ep7 is about as sure a thing as you can get in Hollywood.

That's true. Did they ever confirm JJ coming back for Ep. 9? I'm kind of glad he isn't trying to do all three.George tried to do that with I, II and III.

What if they treated the whole park like one great big Great Movie Ride? I don't mean have the entire park be a ride of course, but have lands like Star Wars and Indiana Jones and what have you set up so you feel like you've walked into the movie, but there are still aspects there that tell a behind the scenes story. They kind of have that idea now, but I feel like if they pushed it a bit farther it would be amazing.

Then we would be talking about additions to the Star Wars park that has been open for 20 years.
No, because Uni only proved Disney wrong with the opening of their first Harry Potter attraction. If Disney execs were of that mind frame, they would not have missed their opportunity when they had the chance for Harry Potter to begin with!

Avatar is the confession to this mistake. What they do with Star Wars will make up for that mistake and run with it.

I truly believe Avatar will be a great addition to DAK with groundbreaking technology. The downside, Star Wars land can't take away the thunder of this opening.
