Over at Disney At Work, there is a rumor posted about DHS possibility replacing Star Tours because it covers to much material - which sounds ridiculous. Anyone in the know have any thoughts?

That makes little sense. Even if they were unhappy with the material in the ride, it would be much cheaper to replace the footage then the entire ride.

Wouldn't be too much to change the scenes and create a standard start and stop to keep it at whatever location the decide on.
Maybe they can 'forget' about the prequel locations except Kashyyk while they are at it and replace them with a scene or two from TFA.

It's probably too much to hope for, but Star Tours could be rebuilt in the middle of the Star Wars land and reconfigured to work like the Hogwarts Express - Transporting you from planet (subland) to planet (subland)?
Imagine how the back of the Adventureland shops are also the back of the Frontierland shops. If Star Tours was a hub and all the 'planet' areas were radiating around it...

As long as there is other ways around. Hogwarts Express works better because it's only for park to park and it's a ride anybody could ride. Star Tours... not so much.

We can only hope. The first two games were amazing, and I'd love it if they added in some Battlefront stuff. But, I doubt it will happen...
