It is amazing to me in 2018 that no construction pictures leak online. You would think with this day in age and Smartphones, someone would break the rules and take a picture. Yes, I know they sign something saying they will not take pictures. I just can't imagine one of the constructions workers didn't take a picture to show his kid the construction.
The thing is, that thing you sign saying you will not take pictures also gives you an outline of what will happen to you if you do.

This is just another job for 95% of the people working on this project and the last thing they want is to not be able to work on the job after this one.

I mean, it could very well happen but you well are aware of the consequences of what happens if 1. you are caught or 2. you post it online.

As mentioned above, almost everyone working on these projects doesn't want to put themselves in a position where they can't anymore.

What was the point of swapping the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Billboard with one for American Idol? Either way I don't think it can be seen by guests. Unless of course they're advertising to the construction workers...

As someone with SLI (2 980's), hearing that scares me. The wonderfully random instability you get occasionally and the painful troubleshooting you need to carry out when it doesn't work just isn't worth it. Obviously for the ride it'll be fine, but SLI is a technology they either need to invest in or (finally) kill off.

I would laugh if the ride had a microstutter issue though.

On a side-note, I'm ready for the 1180ti so I can throw these cards out the window.

your ready for the new pricing structure too than. I'm expecting 1000-1100 for the flagship reference on launch now add onto that for AIB. there's no way they launch at 1080 prices due to9 crypto demand.

At this point, I don't even care. I want out of SLI and am willing to drop a grand (plus the cost of a waterblock) on a new card that will crush my 980s. Just imagine if I went triple SLI like my original plans were. There was an article today that said something about the 1185 being $1400-1500. But judging by the name, that would outrank a TI. And on top of that, I won't trust an article on costs until it's officially launched. Prices have changed at the last second based on "rumors".

Or just hope AMD gets their GPU act together and launches something that can compete. That would invalidate my G-Sync setup though.
I hate the crypto craze. It was a neat little side hobby when it was small and now it's a giant mess.

I may be old and confused, but, weren't we just looking at pictures of the construction site online? Do you have anything specific in mind, like interiors, etc.? I'm sure those construction workers are not going to risk their jobs just to take pictures and post them online. From the air are probably the best we can get for now.

I believe there was a news article awhile ago that they paid Coke an obscene amount of money to not have to put their branding on the machines in SW:GE (to make it more immersive)
I could be wrong...while I remember the part about the logo, I don't recall anything about disney paying coke to do it

"Well, Disney's Legal department just finished paying off Coca-Cola to the tune of tens of millions of dollars because Coke products won't be sold in Star Wars Land, since Coke isn't available in that Galaxy, Far, Far Away. (I always assumed it was RC Cola with maybe some Faygo and Snapple thrown in ... whiny brat Kylo loves his Snapple!) I get and appreciate that Disney wants to copy UNI and the WWoHP. But that worked because all of those drinks and treats and even candies were things that J.K. Rowling had created. They existed.

First Order burgers with black buns are just plain lame (and they sound and look disgusting, so I will not go near that stuff). This is just dumb. Because there isn't a galaxy of SW treats that people know, love and associate with the films. I am guessing Iger has called in the cast of The Chew to create items. Of course, this also sets a bad precedent because it makes people think that the SWE is different or more special than plain old DL.

Anyway, now Legal is working on Visa because WDI doesn't want the Visa logo visible on any SWE cash register or restaurant bill folder, despite Disney's sponsorship contract that says Visa gets that branding privilege. WDI is really taking the story and theme that seriously, no matter the cost. Some might say they are taking things way too seriously."

The plan (the last time I asked) about food/beverage options in SWL is still to only have in-universe options available within the confines of berms being constructed. Just like Potter. Of course, best intentions in advance are always subject to change by the time it's turned over to operations.

Much like Potter, there will be a set of rules that govern what is available in the land and what exists outside the boundaries. So, you will still be able to get generic Star Wars offerings - just not in the land.
