Today, the Hollywood Reporter published some new articles about how Disney wants to guarantee Guests actually enjoy themselves in this land, and about the land in general.

On a side note, it’s amusing to see an Imagineer officially quoted with mild profanity. Way to keep it classy, WDI.

@wdwmagic I’m tagging you in case you want to add this to the SWGE news.

Here’s the reporter’s official preview. I guess Disney finally lifted its embargo.

Located in the heart of downtown Black Spire Outpost, you can spot this sit-down restaurant from around Galaxy’s Edge thanks to the delivery shuttle parked on top.

Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs is the proprietor, and that’s his kitchen — a modified Sienar-Chall Utilipede Transport. In other words, a flying food truck.

He’s dropping off meals for the customers below, and the trailer-size food crates themselves are marked with a sly Easter egg.

The first one is stamped 77, the middle one — which is dangling through an iris in the restaurant ceiling as it is delivered — is marked with 80, and the other one still aboard the ship is No. 83. Those are the three release years of the original trilogy.

We don’t know much else about “Cookie” Tuggs, except that he honed his culinary skills working in the kitchen of Maz Kanata’s castle on Takodana.

I don't see that claimed in the EW article.

I suppose sit down doesn’t mean table service.

Ah, my bad. I read the article text and not the captions of photos.

Given that the Orlando Sentinel specifically says there won't be a TS restaurant (just a Cantina and 2 QSs), and that from the aerial photos, the table service area of Oga's hasn't even been started to be built... then it stands to reason the land won't open with a TS section.

Very true.

All the fancier looking food I assume is what is served there in this part of the article:

I did see it mentioned in Hollywood Reporter that the Cantina is indeed very small as was rumoured here, but the two other restaurants are quite large.

Holy cow! These articles have me bouncing with excitement for the land. The variety and depth of theming in the shows is simply incredible! Apparently more and more news from the three-day press preview will be surfacing in deliberate amounts over the next few days--this has definitely been an interesting 7 days for Disney Parks fans.
