Not sure how reliable of a source he is, but we could see something announced over the next 24 hours.

Scott is pretty good.

Supposedly only a sneak peak, no dates. Link is broken but this is on a search...

Or maybe they realized that having a bunch of people waiting and congregating for their ADRs would probably break some sort of fire code(s) for egressing out of the area?

Point well taken, and trust me I’m not blaming them. I can see a lot of ways where doing away with it (possibly only to go ahead and build it later) makes what is already a complicated execution more manageable.

My only thought would be how will people compare the food and drink offerings to what Uni has done in their Potter lands.

Anybody else think they missed an opportunity by not adding the cast members' home planet on the tag, like in World Showcase?

Haven't they done that in the past, like at Star Tours or in Launch Bay (maybe in Disneyland)? I could have sworn I've seen cast members with a planet listed. I actually remember joking with one saying that he didn't look very hairy for someone from Kashyyyk.

Looks like it can be deduced that the TSR was either cut or pushed to a “Phase II” which means it probably has a 95% chance of not happening if past track records are taken into account.

As mentioned the logistics behind getting it up and running at the same time as the rest of a new land or as also mentioned how do you get people to eventually leave a land at some point in the day to make room for other guests (have them have to go somewhere else in the park to eat) probably came into play with the justification that a land where “The smugglers, the bounty hunters, the rogue adventurers looking to crew up, the people who don't want to be found,” would not be looking for an “upscale dinner club” in the first place.

Just my thoughts. The question still remains though are the QSR pod racer engine grill and cantina 2 separate facilities or are they attached/part of the same establishment?

Question: Is the table service also missing from DL? Or just DHS?

Maybe they are stealing an idea from Uni for a popular IP. Get land up and running. Make tons of cash as fans flock to it. Wait.
Build some new things with that same IP. Make tons of cash as fans flock to it again. Wait.
Build an additional ride in land. Make tons of cash when fans flock to it yet again. Wait.
Why do it all at once when you can milk it for a decade or two... plus the product stays fresh.

Okay, so looking at the DL thread, it sounds like maybe some press were allowed backstage last week and we might see footage from that tonight then? That along with a date makes more sense. I want to be hyped up, I just want it to be worth it. :)
