Like this year, the 2020 Marathon is later (01/08-01/12), so hopefully less crowded. This year is also the first year in a long time that the races aren't sold out. I'm guessing that as soon as they announce a firm opening date for SWGE, Wine & Dine (10/31-11/03) and the 2020 Marathon registrations will be affected. Not getting my hopes up that the course will include SWGE, though. Pandora has yet to be included in the Marathon course since the park is open to guests during the race.

Yeah I don’t see them adding Pandora to the Marathon unless AK became the first park you ran through.

They definitely won’t add SGWE either.

Wrong direction for expansion. At last it was explained to me, if/when GE expands, it will be in the opposite direction. Grand Ace is being treated as a “hard border” of sorts.

Thrill factor (as in forces) will be minimal, but the “thrill” of riding through a Star Destroyer, past a legion of Stormtroopers, etc. will be immense.

I was just wondering if they would expand SW:GE in Hollywood Studios if they didn't do it in DL? Never been there but know that it has a lot less land to expand GE.

We were in DHS a year ago exactly and loved how much less crowded it was compared to the other parks. And while there is less to do, you also don't need to be in a crazy rush to see everything like the other parks.
Hoping to go back again next year and I'm expecting it to be much different.

Has anyone done a groundplan/birds-eye-view layover of the Disneyland and WDW version of the land to compare the space and layout? I'm sure this has been asked and/or done so forgive me for not scrolling through the almost 800 page thread :)

Yes. Anaheim's is slightly bigger, but not by a significant amount. Just a little extra land in the periphery. All the buildings have the same size and distance amongst one another in both parks.

Also DHS' land is more angled and wider while DL's is more along a straighter line.

DHS does have a large "berm" between SW:GE and TSL which is the main expansion plot for the land. The similar area for DL is the other side of the Railroad and is basically water (the Rivers of America).
