One of my favorite Disney moments happened while walking through DL with my girlfriend many years ago while I was still in college. Chip and Dale were playfully running through the crowd chasing each other and as they approached us they started using us as like human shields to keep away from each other. They were hugging us and running around us and at some point one of them fell on the ground and the other jumped on top of the other and they just started play wrestling. It was a hilarious moment and everyone that witnessed this was laughing and having a great time. I have never seen characters do this before or since, but it was wonderful. I didn't get a picture with them but I will never forget that little moment in time. To me, nothing beats free roaming characters, but I also definitely see the value in having the M&Gs as well. A healthy mixture of both is best imo.
Can't forget stuff like this.

Those are the kind of moments I love about the parks! :joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: My wife just reminded me that Chip and Dale also stole my hat during that interaction we had and played a bit of keep away with me. They still play with guests sometimes but I think they probably had more freedom to do it back in those days.

I anticipate this area - and the reveal - to be one of the best from the company in recent times.
.............Provided they don't value engineer it in the last year of construction.

That said, If it's anything like pandora I'll be thrilled especially if the terrain is varied and not so flat like most of the florida parks. I'm particularly interested to see how they blend the hardscapes (concrete & buildings) with the landscapes (platers, trees and other green stuff)

Man it's going to be crazy trying to get to this area of the park at all within the first year of it opening... Would only make sense to even try visiting in like 2022 and catch the other new stuff

Wait 'til 2032 and you'll catch even more new stuff!
Your post reminds me of when I was younger and would hold off on buying some electronic device because I was waiting for the next generation of features to come out...and then end up waiting longer because there was always some new feature on the horizon. I gave up on that a long time ago. However, I do understand the struggle for someone trying to plan an expensive trip from some far away place and trying to get the most bang for their buck. Thank God I live here and have an AP as there is a lot on the horizon!

If I had more time to game, I would do it on PC especially now that there seems to be a resurgence in PC gaming. As it sits, it is all I can do to squeeze in a couple of hours a week and that is just a whole lot easier on a console.

A younger me may disagree with you, however how having a child and working full time i totally understand lol. Thankfully I have an hour each morning to do a little PC gaming before work, however it's also the reason my rig is older and no plans to upgrade anytime soon.
