Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Has there been any talk of representing the original trilogy, episodes 4-7? How cool would it be if the echo lake and Indiana Jones area became SW expansion but because it is separated from SWL by Muppets they decide to focus on the original movies and characters like Jabba, ewoks, and yoda....This would be a great spot for the jedi academy and would fit the swamp planet of yoda with the giant lake....Maybe just wishful thinking!

That's what I'm hoping. Disney will be so overjoyed with the success of the first phase that they order the second phase while keeping Star Tours. You actually will get some of the original three movies in Rogue One, Han Solo stand alone and hopefully Obi stand alone. Connect the two lands with a PeopleMover.

It'd be nicer if they kept it to their "Between trilogies" setting though. Or maybe even give us some planets outside the movies. Like bring in some stuff from Rebels and Clone Wars but down in a live-action manner.

I'm fine with Rogue One. But I hate the Jakku scene.

Though honestly, I'd rather they renovate Star Tours again and fix some of TAC's problems. Like keep the base setting and story, but ditch some of the more annoying in-jokey stuff and bring RX-24 back as the pilot. It's hard to immerse yourself in the world of Star Wars when you have baggage check droids looking at Madame Leota and Goofy hats in suitcases, Alderaan's safest planet award, and 3PO making quips about how stupid Gungans are

If Star Tours is to stay, I sure hope it gets a new exterior. The half immersive / half studio look would jerk you around while walking towards the REAL Star Wars Land.

Not sure what the most appropriate exterior would be, though.

As it stands I'd expect to see a new destination added for eps 8 and 9.

So long as they keep them random and not the snooze fest it has become now.
