Doesn't sound that ambitious. But than again it's better than nothing. Need a more family friendly area in DHS anyways.
He's just being a realist. Would you rather have your hopes dashed before they soar out of control or have them dashed when the reality of what is to come does not mesh with your fantasy?
Have you seen the concept art? Looks ambitious to meDoesn't sound that ambitious. But than again it's better than nothing. Need a more family friendly area in DHS anyways.
So who here thinks this will kill Universal? Pack up shop. Go crying to Mom kind of thing?
If anyone is getting killed, it's Sea World
Building the land near Star Tours makes sense in DHS, but in DL it would require taking out a big part of Tomorrowland,
If they include the existing Star Tours plot in that 14 acres, leave Indy alone, and expand back this is my best guess:

Now if they're not including Star Tours and just take over all of that back stretch of the park:

They might also expand a bit both ways (knocking out Indy leaving more room for the potential Pixar expansion:

Like how Diagon Alley only has one ride but is filled with immersive shops and restaurants. Here's what I don't understand ... they say it's going to be the "largest land at Disneyland" (which pretty much means it's going to be the biggest area at DHS, too) ... how is it possible that they build it with only two rides? I mean New Orleans Square is the smallest land at Disneyland and it has two rides. It doesn't make any sense.
What it could look like at Disneyland..
Aside from Carsland, not many expansions in Disney or even UNI have had over two rides though. The rides could very well be excellent, as well as the Star Tours improvements, so two rides is fine with me.Ambitious? It's got two rides. EPCOT Center was ambitious.
Star Wars stuff at both parks in the next few months

I can't really judge it against Diagon Alley because I've never been there (and I've never seen the Harry Potter movies). But is Diagon Alley 14 acres?
Appreciate the hospitality.this is a WDW forum....DL can pound sand.....=)
