A lot of people on Twitter complaining they opened the page at 10:05am and waiting the two hours and it never went in, yet I opened the page at 11:15am and never saw the wait page and immediately booked my time.

Was I lucky, or did these people miss the boat and are pretending they waited, or did they have other issues like local wifi?

Yeah this is strange. I opened it around 10:20 and got on 20 mins later. I suspect its probably a number of issues from what browser you used, doing it on mobile vs a full website (I NEVER try and make hard reservations on a mobile site, those are always the worst) and so on.

Obviously I do feel bad for people who didn't get it but no matter what the overwhelming majority wasn't going to get it regardless.

I got through and was never given the option of party size. I have a reservation for 1 :/

This happened to me as well. I called (888) 834 9125 and was on hold for 45 min. They went through a specific confirmation process for my reservation time (asked me to confirm my full name, account email, reservation date/time). Told them the situation. They said that a member of the reservation center leadership team will be calling me back to *basically* see if my reasoning is good enough to add more people.

**I think** they are making accommodations depending on your situation.

EX: If you already have some people under the reservation and just want to add more for fun, I doubt they would accommodate.

But if they see your reservation is just for a party of 1 and a mistake was made, I don't see why they wouldn't help. What are they going to tell you? Leave your family behind and experience the land alone?

As stated above, they used a random number generator rather than an actual queue, so people who were on the site before 10 had basically no advantage over those who got on shortly after. They did not follow the announced process. In addition, people who refreshed did not get penalized by losing their place in a line that didn't exist. They got rewarded because each refresh ran the random number again versus waiting 30 seconds for it to refresh on its own. It's too bad that they didn't accurately describe the process but it's not clear how much difference it would have made

yeah that's a little disappointing as I had expected we'd be able to get closer to it. Though maybe we will via either the ride queue or a controlled photo op
Photo op is located right next to Docking Bay 7 on the overlook, providing a clear shot of the Falcon with no guests in the way. Going to look perfect!

Entrance to SR is under the signature tower. It then wraps behind the Falcon, heads inside, goes upstairs, back around the Falcon but on level 2, then eventually, after the Hondo preshow, will lead into one of two dummy Falcons docked “underground” so that we don’t see the exterior.

I am happy for those of you who were able to get reservations today but I think people are forgetting 1 thing. Just because you have a reservation does not mean you are guaranteed to enter the land. It says so itself on Disney's website. There are going to be those who have reservations who will not get in. At all. They made tons of reservations available and overrlap for 1 reason- to fill the land at max capacity that they can control. If it was wide open as the other lands, everyone would overload the land. But make no mistake, you gonna be in that line for the flacon for more than 4 hours. Once you get in line during your reservstion time you are allowed to stay in line even if it takes you 6 hours, they will not kick you out of line but once your ride is over and you are past your slot you will be shown the door. So make the use of your time wisely if you even are able to get in. I will say it again, just because you have a reservation DOES NOT GURANTEE YOU ACCESS TO THE LAND EVEN IF YOU ARE A HOTEL GUEST. It just means you have a reserved slot but it depends on land capacity at the time.

Just because you can post something doesn't mean you should.....

I think everyone here is well aware of the chance they take with a reservation, no need for you to state it again.

Not true at all. Earlier someone posted this
I like the idea of being guaranteed that you can actually get into the land.
Some are confusing a reservation as guaranteed access. I just was giving a friendly reminder that is not the case. I dont want someone showing up thinking they are guaranteed access then being disapointed when they cant then their reservation time passes and they never set foot in the land. It needed to be said.

Heard them running the Galaxy’s Edge area music behind the center blocked off entrance. Recorded a good snippet through a crack in the wood panel.

I’m still at the resort on vacation and can’t figure out how to host/post from here on my phone.

Anyone help a brother out? DM me and I’ll send the file if you can get it uploaded to the board.

For anyone that wants to hear this...
