Funny i thought we were on the outskirts of space. Why would a random space sport have a protective barrier over a random ship that just landed. Another item added to my list of complaints

That is no longer canon according to Disney. It is Disney who decided Chewie did not matter when after Han died, Leia let Chewie, Han's best friend for over 40 years, walk past her with 0.0. Acknolwedgement while she went to hug Rey, someone she had never met before in her life. According to Disney , Leia's own history with Chewie means nothing. And that is Disney canon by the way

After the Last Jedi, I don't believe anything from Disney is canon.

George Lucas said he was missing you, needs his morning back rub. Wants you to call him.

Seriously, listen to your hyperbole. "According to Disney, Leia's own history with Chewie means nothing." Yeah. Sure. LucasFilm rebrands their metric ton of extended universe content to SW Legends to streamline content moving forward, you act like this is a desecration of Holy Scriptures, as if Bob, Kathy, and Alan are villains straight out of Captain Planet dumping sludge in the waters off Nantucket Sound and laughing gleefully while they're doing it. Utter nonsense.

Photo op is located right next to Docking Bay 7 on the overlook, providing a clear shot of the Falcon with no guests in the way. Going to look perfect!

Entrance to SR is under the signature tower. It then wraps behind the Falcon, heads inside, goes upstairs, back around the Falcon but on level 2, then eventually, after the Hondo preshow, will lead into one of two dummy Falcons docked “underground” so that we don’t see the exterior.

..exactly....

As stated above, they used a random number generator rather than an actual queue, so people who were on the site before 10 had basically no advantage over those who got on shortly after. They did not follow the announced process. In addition, people who refreshed did not get penalized by losing their place in a line that didn't exist. They got rewarded because each refresh ran the random number again versus waiting 30 seconds for it to refresh on its own. It's too bad that they didn't accurately describe the process but it's not clear how much difference it would have made

i opened more than one browser to be specific i opened six. one starting at 8 am because i wanted to see what the rules where and then right before 10 i opened the second browser waited a bit and then continue to open the balance after i read that on the site that q virtual queue would be started at 10am.

If they did use a random number generator I find it interesting that the browsers I opened originally actually opened up for reservations in the exact same order that i opened them to begin with. I did try one extra browser after we all had done our reservations here at work and that one went to the reservation page within seconds. At that time most of the dates were taken.

I wonder why they would say one thing on their site and then use a different system at time of the reservations. Wouldn't that put them in some kind of legal bind if some crazy fan decides that their life is ruined because they didn't get a chance to go? claiming that Disney didn't do as they posted

Just saw a quick piece on N. CA local news about Star Wars coming to Disneyland, and how folks will need a reservation to visit it during the first few weeks. It's so cute the way the GP is reacting to this like... well, like normal, non-fans would: "A Star Wars land at Disneyland?!? (sees Falcon in drone fly-by shot) That looks really cool!!!"

After all my griping and cynicism about GE and all my disinterest in post-1985 SW, I couldn't help but feel the same moment of childlike glee when I saw that brief news clip. Disneyland is opening a Star Wars land...and it looks really cool. :D
