Amazing. I’m actually asking Disney to put Star Wars in Star Wars Land. Batuu is not quite there yet. Of course I don’t have to like it. That’s the way things work when Disney mishandles IP. I choose to stay away.
Good idea. Why waste your energy on something you clearly don't enjoy?

But Luke lived miles and miles away from Mos Eisley in the middle of nowhere. His house was so boring that he was yearning for something more. Not sure if visiting a bland moisture farm is an exciting adventure most people really want. Sure, it sounds nice in nostalgia-land, but in reality, I'd rather walk through Mickey's house than Luke's house and I have only been to Mickey's house once.
with 14 acres you can adjust for some things. luke and jabba's palace could be where the forest is now and if you think being able to visit Luke's home as boring you are not a real star wars fan. period.

You're completely right on this. Batuu, much like Tatooine, is not an environment we would want to go. A desert outpost full of crime and violence? That's not pleasant and does not belong in Disneyland. It's the same problems as Tatooine except unfamiliar.
wrong. i want to go to tatooine. many fans would.

Batuu is an actual place in Star Wars too. Hate to break it to you, but Star Wars is a work of fiction as are the worlds which exist within it.

Considering George Lucas created very cut and dry backgrounds and locations (forest planet with no civilization, desert planet with hovels, cold endless hallways inside space stations, etc) I prefer the Imagineers working to flesh out the land a bit. Star Wars was a hit because of the characters, fantasy storyline, and space battle effects, not because of the fleshed out locations. Star Wars has never really been detail oriented other than the details on the actual shapeships; everything else is pretty stark and straight forward.
the forest planet you speak of has a civilization, they're called EWOKS you non knowing star wars mo fo

I don't know why you quoted me as I wasn't interacting with you nor debating you on your silly diatribe about Tatooine being better than Batuu.

Besides you completely missed the point of my post which you quoted. It was a joke, I was poking fun at Tror who used the word "dessert" (as in a treat that usually comes after a meal) and saying it doesn't belong in Disneyland (which it does) when he meant to use the word "desert".

Also I have determined that you and THE 1HAPPY HAUNT are the same person. You guys talk the same, and use the same exact silly arguments for everything. (oh and in case you missed it, this is a joke too)
You could not live with your own failure. where did that bring you? back to me.

In the Parks
Yes
Luke’s farm home is flat. How would that be recreated in a theme park?

Mos Eisley would basically the same as what we have now, just more brown and yellow.

Tatooine would’ve made a really poor location for Galaxy’s Edge. For all the faults that some people have with Batuu it still has all elements. Outpost, space port, cantina, caves, ships, marketplace, etc. Just put 50 stormtroopers in there and a few droids and it would be complete.

Ur not true STAR WARS fan unless if u want too be eated by the sarlacc Pit.
No one wants to be eaten by it, but would Star Wars fans love to see the Sarlacc Pitt? you bet your @ss they would. I remember people constantly pointing out in the review thread when the land first opened how awesome it was in one of the shops you could see a baby sarlacc. People constantly brought it up. so yes, people wana see it because it was from the OT. the OT sells. it sells more and better than anything from the new trilogy. that is a fact. so don't go poo-pooing my sarlacc idea when people were raving about being able to see a baby one on this website.

Again you are wrong. Once again for those brain dead enough to not understand, PEOPLE WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE LOCATIONS FROM THE MOVIE. It is why Wizarding World works and keeps getting expansions and is in multiple parks. In Tatooine you would be able to do the following:
1 Go visit Luke's home and sit at the same table he and Anakin did. you could sell AUNT BERU'S HOME MADE BLUE MILK there.
visit the garage where he gave 3P0 a bath and took the restraining bolt of R2
2. you could visit Jabba's Palace with a fully working Jabba AA. hell even have solo in carboinite in there.
have a ride based around the rancor and sarlacc pitt with working AA's of both plus you can have bobba fett walking around and the max rebo band and dancers and tons of aliens and droids
3. you can go to the ACTUAL FILM PRESENTED cantina with the band playing the song. visit the counter where luke stood. sit at the table Han sat at and killed greedo at.
4. Since this is where we first ever saw the falcon you can keep your falcon ride in the land and it would work better because you can get ride of pointless hondo and bring in Han and Chewie.
5. you can have a pod race ride on the outskirs along with sand people walking around and sand crawlers and dew backs.
you can keep the droid depot run only by Jawas this time inside a sand crawler.

6. you can have a BUILD YOUR LIGHTSABER show only this time it is in Obi-wan's home which is where luke first was presented with Anakin's saber and where he built his green one. and you can have force ghost Obi-Wan and force ghost Yoda lead the show instead of cast memebers who can't act.

this and much more you can do with tatooine.

Flat? It’s underground. You walk down into where they live.
