Again you are wrong. Once again for those brain dead enough to not understand, PEOPLE WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE LOCATIONS FROM THE MOVIE. It is why Wizarding World works and keeps getting expansions and is in multiple parks. In Tatooine you would be able to do the following:
1 Go visit Luke's home and sit at the same table he and Anakin did. you could sell AUNT BERU'S HOME MADE BLUE MILK there.
visit the garage where he gave 3P0 a bath and took the restraining bolt of R2
2. you could visit Jabba's Palace with a fully working Jabba AA. hell even have solo in carboinite in there.
have a ride based around the rancor and sarlacc pitt with working AA's of both plus you can have bobba fett walking around and the max rebo band and dancers and tons of aliens and droids
3. you can go to the ACTUAL FILM PRESENTED cantina with the band playing the song. visit the counter where luke stood. sit at the table Han sat at and killed greedo at.
4. Since this is where we first ever saw the falcon you can keep your falcon ride in the land and it would work better because you can get ride of pointless hondo and bring in Han and Chewie.
5. you can have a pod race ride on the outskirs along with sand people walking around and sand crawlers and dew backs.
you can keep the droid depot run only by Jawas this time inside a sand crawler.

6. you can have a BUILD YOUR LIGHTSABER show only this time it is in Obi-wan's home which is where luke first was presented with Anakin's saber and where he built his green one. and you can have force ghost Obi-Wan and force ghost Yoda lead the show instead of cast memebers who can't act.

this and much more you can do with tatooine.
Sounds boring.

Instead of calling posters names, and resorting to personal attacks, why don't you take a step back.

I get that you have a passionate opinion about Star Wars and its representation (or lack there of in Galaxy's Edge), but the moment you resort to personal attacks and calling name you've lost everyone.

If others are not coming around to your opinion then either your argument is flawed or it wasn't strong enough to convince others your opinion has merit.

Bottom line you come across as hostile and that shouldn't be something that you want. I know I've had to tone down my own posts because I was coming across that way. Especially the all caps posts. So take a bit of advice from someone who has been in this position, calm it down. And I will also apologize if you've felt any of my posts towards you were hostile in any way.

We're all entitled to our own opinions, we're not entitled to make the forum feel hostile because of those opinions.

It was a joke not a personal attack. Smile once in a while. I would say THAT poster's comment was more of a personal attack and demeaning since he was actively bragging about ignoring someone and insinuating their comment had no merrit. I was just being a smart @ss and having some fun in the thread while also sticking up for the person who he blocked who he deemed unworthy of having an opinion. And how you chose to interpret my comment is not my problem. And I stand by my comments. HEAVEN forbid sarcastic humor gets banned. You back off. You are not my mom. I don't need you to be the PC POLICE. Besides my direct reply to you was tongue in cheek since you tagged me and talked about me out of the blue. That was more of a personal attack than I have ever done. By the way I have been meaning to tell you and keep forgetting to mention I like your Mickey Iron Man avatar. I mean it. Its creative and cool. You always pick interesting avatars. Just thought I mention it since I remembered. Now, have a good evening.

First I didn't tag you in the post to someone else. I just referenced you. Second it was a joke and I labeled it as such. You haven't labeled any of your posts as such. So while I can appreciate a tongue-in-cheek post, calling out someone's mother is a personal attack no matter how you meant it. There is an ignore feature for a reason, if you can't handle someone ignoring another poster, well as you said that is your problem not theirs.

Anyways its just friendly advice, take the tone down a bit my friend, take it or leave it.

Thank you for the compliment on my avatars.

the forest planet you speak of has a civilization, they're called EWOKS you non knowing star wars mo fo

Civilization: Noun. The stage of human social and cultural development and organization that is considered most advanced.

Ewoks belonged a primitive tribal community. As I said, a very cut and dry location for Lucas. Forest with natives who our heroes can befriend and use to attack the army. I don't want to visit a land of trees and tree houses. A ride, sure, but don't need a land comprised of wooden huts and re-purposed bunkers and where all of the natives are hauntingly absent. If I wanted that, I'd visit Pandora.

Star Wars seems to cross all types of societies where primitive to civilization. Batuu represents an in-between planet. Not civilized or primitive. Since it isn't featured in any movie, we don't know enough about Batuu. It's a trading outpost. It is caught up in a war not of it's own making. It attracts scum; however, this isn't fleshed out. We really don't have much to work with. That's why if they used Tatooine, we would instantly know it's backstory so we don't have to painfully affirm obvious Star Wars plotting. This dilution of Star Wars makes it tired contrary to the expectation that Disney Star Wars is fresh. Knock it off, literally.

I think the backstory of Batuu is pretty obvious. Its an outpost on the fringes of the Galaxy which attracts smugglers as well as the resistance looking to hide out. There clearly were native cultures here years ago, but they have long been replaced by a boom town-like Black Spire. Now, the First Order has learned of Resistance fighters hiding out on the planet, so they have sent soldiers out to patrol Black Spire, ruffling feathers in this dusty town that enjoys existing outside the usual limits of civilization.

Correction: They sent two stormtroopers which has apparently scared the entire population of droids, aliens, bounty hunters, and Jedis to leave.

This doesn't tell you anything about Batuu itself or its inhabitants. Its a mere outline. A handwave. There's a lack of run through storyline with Star Wars especially with how it connects with the Sequels. Why would this particular place be a hiding place? Just so we cover the bases, Thrawn Alliance book is about Darth Vader looking for Padme (his wife) on this planet. So any particular value to hide out was lost with this story addition. Let's keep hiding in a place where we know they are hiding in plain sight. La La La. Lame Lame Lame.

Also interesting that you added a qualifier to your response with "I think". Definitely you do, but it's not anything helpful.
