Entertainment and everything else will change if it becomes Tatooine. There is much more potential for entertainment and exploration with Tatooine. Maybe this concept is hard for you to figure out. I can imagine walkabout Jawa and Sand People. Jawas will try to trade droids next to Sandcrawler vehicles. Guests can explore Luke's home and buy blue milk deep in their homes. Walk along the deserted canyons for see the Sand People and bump into Ben Kenobi. Interacting with the locations is absolutely part of the fun.

I read your link to the Batuu storyline. It reads like a historical drama. It's so tedious. It relates to Thrawn Alliances. Okay, we really have to read those books to figure it out. Is this the Star Wars we need at a theme park? Just stick to the movies.

Once again, I have no desire to explore Luke's home and most people won't after the initial curiosity has worn off. This isn't the Nautilus, its a adobe hovel.

You can already buy blue milk.

A Ben Kenobi face character would be awkward.

Deserted canyons of rock and dirt don't sound too appealing.

You can still have alien characters pawning droids and junk in Batuu. However, if Iger won't allow for budgets to support it, then its a moot point with either location.

The Wizarding World works because we can't walk up and meet Harry Potter or any of the other characters. We only see citizens of the world, not the star players. Its a community feeling. With both Pandora and Batuu Disney has created lands where the community seems absent. The Navi and aliens are all missing. Droids are corralled and barely interact. All of the animals are in cages and asleep or dormant.

Batuu needs working droids on ledges and in the queues. If they can interact, even better. It needs alien livestock for "sale" and corralled. It needs walk around characters in creature makeup. It needs stunt shows to break out with the action all around us. It needs live entertainment in the dining area. They need elements for owners of the lightsabers to "use the force" on a la HP Wands. It needs Jedi Academy. None of these needs require the land to be Tatooine to work, they require funding.

You do realize that in every description you've made of your "idealized" world, you've reduced the entirety of SW down to roughly the first half of A New Hope and nothing else??
That's because I was merely talking about Tatooine, half the Star Wars Land. I do agree that MF ride should remain, but have a different adventure. The other half should be Naboo or Coruscant that will hold the big ride.

So instead of giving us an actual Star Wars, this Batuu suits YOU just fine. You're just trying to re-invent Star Wars like a Disney land. It just doesn't work for me and many Star Wars fans. Wizarding World is superior in every way in comparison. I do think there should be Harry Potter and other characters. It just completes the experience.

There's no way to effectively create Coruscant in a theme park environment. You could do Naboo, but it can't be squeezed into the space that surrounds RotR. Unless you're planning for Tatooine featuring Luke's House Walkthrough, Giant Sandcrawler Droid Shop, Cantina, Obi Wan Meet and Greet, Canyon area, Mos Eisley shops to take up less space than the marketplace area currently does.... That sounds like a crowded mess.

Batuu IS actual Star Wars. That's what you keep missing.

Batuu is all of Star Wars Land. And you just keep it up your nonsense

There, I highlighted exactly what you said. If my previous statement still doesn't make sense to you, then I got nothing.

Also, why is your name BB8??

Coruscant or Naboo can be represented in one grand building that is also where the attraction is at. It needs a few acres. The rest of the land could be Tatooine. The transition is quite easy like a Star Wars movie swipe. The walk up from Critter Country is quite long and much can be allocated proportionally. Luke's house on one side and the Sand Crawler on the other. The canyon on one side and the Cantina & Space Port on the other. Anyways, this was what didn't happen.

If I can makeover Batuu like Tatooine, this part is quite easy to change with a paint job to white smooth stucco on the major buildings. The walk from Critter Country will have Luke's home.

If it’s not in a Star Wars movie, it doesn’t count.

To you. Star Wars is a brand. I have students who love Star Wars but have never seen the original trilogy. I have many who only watched the few different cartoon series. Most of my friends my age read the books and know all kinds of other plot lines and planets and people. This is all Star Wars. Just because its an aspect of Star Wars that you haven't seen represented in a feature film doesn't make it not part of the Star Wars lore and brand. The original trilogy is ancient history in terms of the public eye. I'm 35 and I didn't even grow up with the original trilogy. Focusing on a story nearing 50 years old is not the way to satisfy the wants/needs of guests.

And we can't wait to get into the Cantina, the space port, and blue milk. facepalm

I know some don't like a Tatooine middle eastern Tunisian desert (also filmed in Death Valley California). so that's why we gotten an Arizona desert in Carsland? A Star Wars desert is fun. That's why we gotten all the Tatooine elements except for the real thing. BTW: People are calling Batuu boring. Great substitute???!!!
I don't know why you quoted me as I wasn't interacting with you nor debating you on your silly diatribe about Tatooine being better than Batuu.

Besides you completely missed the point of my post which you quoted. It was a joke, I was poking fun at Tror who used the word "dessert" (as in a treat that usually comes after a meal) and saying it doesn't belong in Disneyland (which it does) when he meant to use the word "desert".

Also I have determined that you and THE 1HAPPY HAUNT are the same person. You guys talk the same, and use the same exact silly arguments for everything. (oh and in case you missed it, this is a joke too)
