Have we seen any pictures with the camera pointed back at the berm? I've been assuming we'll be seeing more greenery facing that way.

There’s some greenery on the berm. Probably looks like there’s more from ground level.

so i wonder how long before JJ Abrahms or any if the Lucas crew decides that they can save themselves some money filming on of the starwars shows or movies at SWGE.

wouldn't be ti difficult to film at night and use the place as a set

Nice ramp they have in the background, a shame we can't walk on it

I'm not bothered so much about the idea of not being able to walk under it - but rather that you can't walk around it and get up to the walls on the other side.
That's a large amount of real estate that's blocked off now.
There's going to be a near constant mass of people hanging on those barriers, rather than moving about in what would have been an open area.

A constant mass of people and thousands of strollers....my guess is that becomes stroller parking for MF: SR.

I don't see why not. Disneyland has been in movies before. That area is movie quality. Maybe there will be a scene or two on Baatu. I bet the Mandelorian will have some shots there eventually.
The would be dumb NOT to at some point just to drum up business. SWGE 'timeline and the Mandalorian timelines are years apart, but Black Spire Outpost has already been established as existing for since before Clone wars so at most some slight changes here and there to back date the surroundings for a few scenes and done.

Every time Disneyland's been in a movie (That Thing You Do is my favorite), it's appeared as itself. It's never tried to replicate a place that isn't a theme park. I don't think filming a SW movie scene there would save any money, and would only be done for a bit of unnecessary publicity...Although it would certainly give DL bragging rights over Florida. :D
