You get a roof top view to put on VR headsets? VR headsets negates the need for special viewing areas.

In the Parks
Yes
Here are a couple of photos from the 14th floor of the Paradise Pier Hotel. So interesting to see Galaxys Edge juxtaposed with Anaheim buildings.

Thank you for the information, and welcome back. Now of course this applies only to DHS, but its an interesting story of things we know wrong with TDO.

This is the problem when you have a purpose built land or attraction built specifically for one park and then tried to clone it for another park, but don't make adjustments specific to that park.

Obviously TDO tried to cut corners to save money by not adjusting building plans to meet the requirements of Florida. Bit them in the A$$ as it seems to always do....

Doesn't sound like anything to blame execs on... but rather on rank and file designers and architects. The kinds of oversights mentioned are the kind that seem obvious in hindsight... but you know what they say about hindsight

I am just trying to make the most educated guess about when she may be open. Is that a crime? I have preferences of when to visit, etc.

..actually you are NOT trying to make a guess... you are trying to find an exact date. Just pick a date - make sure you can change your reservations, or just wait until you hear an official announcement. Asking EVERY DAY isn't going to win any brownie points.

Except its the TDO execs that signed off on the project., so they are ultimately to blame. So while I agree its actually the design team that should have caught it. It was the execs that thought they could be cheap and get two for the price of one design without changes. Instead of purposefully redesigning it to work in the region for which it was being placed. And for all we know the design team may have warned about using the plans made specifically for DLR in DHS without changes needed specifically for Florida, but TDO didn't listen or didn't want to pay for redesign. We may never know the real story.

But that statement is hyperbolic and you know it. They did make changes... they can not be a carbon copy without even looking because it's not setup the same. They clearly missed some things... something that happens in every project to a degree.

Where's the hate on Imagineering and TDA for screwing up their version and not getting the changes in time to the FL version?

All of this finger pointing based on hersay way down the food chain is just stupid fan hatred. We don't know what really happened in the design gaps.. so lets stop the finger pointing.

And for all we know the design team may have warned about using the plans made specifically for DLR in DHS without changes needed specifically for Florida, but TDO didn't listen or didn't want to pay for redesign.

No, it's not 'for all we know..' that is speculation based on absolutely nothing.

The bandwagon finger pointing is really bad form.

people like the above are the reason i make fun of people who come out of nowhere with random "inside sources" and expect to be treated like a god (obviously not talking about people on this site like martin who have a proven track record)

Except we don't know there is a screw up with the DLR version. We just know there are issues with RotR. So all the details in the post told was specifically about DHS, not DLR. So if the same or similar story comes out about DLR, then I'll throw some shade toward TDA too.

No, it's not 'for all we know..' that is speculation based on absolutely nothing.

"For all we know" is a saying meaning specifically when one has limited details or is uncertain about known details, specifically the very definition of speculation.

Bottom line, there is expected to be a certain amount of finger pointing on boards like this when a story like this comes out. Now yes its all hearsay, but at the same time its not that far fetched of a story to not believe it.

But if you want even blame across the organization, Ok. I blame all of P&R for not catching issues like the one mentioned in the post. So TDA, TDO, WDI, and all the contractors are to blame. I'm sorry but things like not weatherstripping HVAC units when you know Florida has lots of rains is ridiculous, and the very definition of cheap, things TDO is well known for.

The same source highlighted other deficiencies that were in the DL version. Just different problems.

Except it's not speculating on a choice... you just dreamed up an entirely new event. And then speculated on what the outcome was.

It serves zero purpose except to sling mud.

No - we should have higher standards than drooling fanbois raging with zero behind them.
