Do we think they may have some theme ODV carts for other food?

Edit to add:

Reading the Disney press document now:

“Guests will walk through a bustling street market, where vendors offer various local delicacies, including an Outpost Mix of uniquely flavored popped grains from Kat Saka’s Kettle.”

So it sounds like there are more food stands yet to be announced.

I like the level of theming they re going for with some of these shops/ restaurants. That of racer engine in Rontos and Dok Ondars sound especially impressive

From the parks' blog: " Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more details and installments as we continue to “Build Batuu” and as the Batuuan locals say farewell…“Till the Spire!” "

So, the CMs will be shouting “Till the Spire!” at you all the time?

Anyone else notice they reused Mission Space's roles like the pilot and engineer for the Millennium Falcon ride?

Yes, because Mission Space was the first to conceive pilots and engineers flying and maintaining spacecraft. The best part of Mission Space is the gunner position where you shoot down enemy spacecraft.......oh wait.....

Oh to add... I do think the engineer role is appealing, not everyone wants to be the star. Some of us are a bit passive / bad at video games. Let me sit in the back and enjoy the ride.

I made a post eons ago about being a real engineer myself being excited about that role but got shot down with the argument that people wanting to fly the Falcon would greatly outweigh those who'd want to shoot lasers or maintain the ship's systems. (Might not have been this forum)

I'm glad a numbering system is confirmed, although I don't know if it will just be groups that are numbered or also roles as to keep people from fighting over the positions.

If by flying and maintaining a spacecraft you mean pressing a single button that flashes when the guy from Forrest Gump tells you to press it, then yes. Mission Space was the first to do this.

Honestly... I don’t want to try and aim and shoot things... I don’t want to avoid hitting things... let me push the green button when a fire is announced.

Have you had a chance to play the VR Star Trek: Bridge Crew? In the engineering position you have to distribute available power to different systems, repair systems that have been damaged, charge the warp engine before it can be used, and even fine-tune re-route power from one system to another. Part of the job regarding power is making sure other ships can't detect you from a certain distance.

Obviously Disney would never go into this much detail as it's less a video game than an attraction and the learning curve would be way too steep, but it got me thinking of how cool it would be to offer levels of difficulty in the position where 'easy' would be as simple as pressing a button when it flashes, and 'hard' would be doing what I described above. Hard would generate greater rewards in the end and you'd have to maybe train somehow, but it would be more fun.

The usual response I get from ideas like this is, "I don't go to Disneyland to think, or play video games, or have to work in a group when riding an attraction", etc. Fair enough, this kind of interactiveness isn't for everyone, but if they offered options or levels they could appeal to all types of people. Oh well, better to appeal to the masses than the niche market I suppose.

Yeah, but... the Falcon is pointing at the dome of Oga's. And according to the aerials, there's an extension attached to Oga's which isn't appearing in the model. Nor is the mystery building next to it...

Satellite of Anaheim...

And here are those buildings in red if they were to be in the model...

I’m not sure what you are drawing here, but those buildings are there. Your 3D alignment is off by about 30-45 degrees. Clockwise
