I hope they can make SW:GE as realistic as possible. Maybe they could even bring back the s*** shaped deserts from AK. Call it Bantha Poop Pastries or something.

If SW land were as realistic as possible, odds are you'd be either an SS-like Imperial soldier, a terrorist, a slave or a criminal. Or some bizarre alien creature. Or dead. And everyone would die.

So Mr. Jim Hill reported that Ops is committing to the Big Thunder entrance being the only entrance to SW:GE for the opening summer. Jim also made a few errors in the same podcast, so, salt, yada to the power of 3, etc.

Rather than the validity of Jim's info, let's discuss the topic. If they did do this for days with maximum crowds, I propose blocking off all non-SW traffic from the Big Thunder Trail area. Use the entire area for queue and put stroller parking near the Fantasyland exit (for convenient dropping-off and picking-up. Thoughts?

The idea of limited in/out paths is all but a given. Standard model for crowd limiting and crowd control.

The real question is how they will handle the queuing... maybe they'll get smart and find the ultimate upsell with maxpass and use it for queuing for the land.

This seems likely to me. It would prevent the overflow crowds of people waiting to enter SWL from clogging up Fantasyland and Critter Country/NOS. The new Big Thunder Trail has much wider walkways than the rest of the park, so it seems logical to keep the throngs of people in this area. Futhermore, having only one entrance would create a level playing field, so to speak, for everyone trying to enter the land.

Will they move the smoking area from over there or will everyone get gassed by second hand smoke?
