Don't worry, we can probably find a lady for you in rural Idaho, or Utah.
Just came back from a trip to St. Louis and Illinois. Lovely people there. Wrong thread, but the employees at the fast food chains there are infinitely better than the ones here. Disneyland should hire exclusively high school kids from the Midwest.

Looking forward to breaking out my "Disneyland outrage form letter" (which I've unfortunately had to use quite a bit lately) for ending the DL prohibition. Awful decision, and probably the greatest example of the company reneging on its traditions in pursuit of profit.

And I'm sure they will read it and know just where to file it....

We ALL know they are going to serve booze in the Cantina in Star Wars Land. And a year later they’ll serve alcohol at the Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans and Carnation Cafe.

It’s 2018 heading quickly towards the 2020’s, and it’s time to end Disneyland’s prohibition. I wouldn’t have said that 15 years ago, but times change.

Why TDA even pretends that’s not the decision they made two years ago baffles me, and yet I’m somehow not surprised after their recent ham-fisted PR responses to issues big and small.

Someone needs to shake up Disney’s PR team and stop letting interns and their 26 year old “managers” guide their public outreach and communication. Adults who can communicate with adults are needed desperately in TDA’s PR offfices.

I think you're pretty much correct on this. I'm not so sure about buffeteria locations like French Market, Plaza Inn and Rancho del Zocalo. I would be OK with all of that--I think it's sufficient that they don't allow roaming around DL Park with booze. I think that's a reasonable line to draw.

It’s not something I’ll throw a fit over, but I still think adults should be capable of enjoying a day at Disneyland without needing an alcoholic drink. I don’t understand the obsession with it.
You said it way nicer than I was going to. I was about to say that any adult that can't survive an entire day at Disneyland without consuming alcohol is a pathetic individual. Especially since, you know, alcohol is already readily available at DTD and DCA.

It’s about options. Why do you assume someone can’t handle a day? If I’m on vacation, I’d like to have options for the money I bring with me. It sounds quite romantic to enjoy a glass of wine at Disneyland.

You already have plenty of options to drink at DCA or DTD. Why is that not good enough?

Why does it matter? It's just alcohol... Every restaurant serves it. It's 2018 people.
lol, I was hoping you'd bring up the "its ___________ (insert year)" argument. Because its an utterly pointless argument that means absolutely nothing. The date on the calendar is completely irrelevant.

Why is it so wrong for there to be a tradition upheld within the parks? If all of DLR was dry, then that would be one thing. But we're talking about one theme park. It's NOT hard to get your booze fix at DLR proper.

BTW, wasn't this whole thing already the subject of its own thread???

I don’t really mind if DL starts offering alcohol at sit down restaurants or at counter service restaurants for that matter so long as I don’t see people walking around belligerent and ruining other peoples time. I haven’t noticed much of this behavior, if at all at DCA and I’m assuming drunk people park hop over to DL.

With that said alcohol does nothing for me. I realize the short buzz is not worth the effects it has on my body like heartburn and feeling like crap the next day. I’ve pretty much written off alcohol. It just doesn’t agree with my body. The buzz we feel, is our liver in a state of crisis trying to get that stuff out of our body. It’s pretty gross if you think about it.
