UPDATE: Now I’m hearing that it’s still parked on the north side of the ride building. Someone needs to get to the top of M&F parking structure. I’m too far away today to go to the resort.
I bet Yensid55 is on it.

When it launches, riders will enter a cockpit powered with a single BOXX chassis packed with eight high-end NVIDIA Quadro P6000 GPUs, connected via Quadro SLI.
Quadro Sync synchronizes five projectors for the creation of dazzling ultra-high resolution, perfectly timed displays to fully immerse the riders in the word of planet Batuu.
Working with NVIDIA and Epic Games, the Imagineering team created a custom multi-GPU implementation for Unreal Engine. This new code was returned to the Epic Games team and will help influence how multi-GPUs function for their engine.
Thanks for the information. I've never heard of Epic Games or the Unreal Engine until I played Fortnite. That's pretty cool.First image from on ride the Falcon.
Information on the ride technology:
Anyways, someone want to fill me on why the heck the TIE Fighter is from the OT era but the land is apparently set during the ST era? My prediction has been that the land would be immediately post Jedi so this definitely props up that theory.
My guess is that it’s not actually an image from ride (concept art or an early render or something). I’m pretty sure at D23 in 2015 they said the Battle Escape ride would put you in the middle of a battle involving the First Order.First image from on ride the Falcon.

I hope you're right. I'm looking forward to the idea of Galaxy's Edge being 100% ST era with Rey, Poe, and Kylo being present. Would be upset if it's just more OT stuff for 40yro men to drool over at this point. My guess is that it’s not actually an image from ride (concept art or an early render or something). Different color scheme, though. Imperial TIEs are gray with black solar panels as pictured above, and FO TIEs are black with gray solar panels. The First Order has TIE fighters.

True, but they are still TIE Fighters regardless of color scheme. Besides, the Imperial Navy also had white with black solar panels ships.I hope you're right. Cool stuff, where'd you find that? The fact that it is using all these high powered graphics cards to render the scenes in real time with the Unreal engine implies this is going to be very interactive and not a sit back and watch type simulation ala Star Tours.
Thanks! Just read the article... Wow, that is going to have some RIDICULOUS juice under the hood. Just one of those cards runs $5k and here I am all blown away with what my $400 (pre-Bitcoin mining explosion price) GFX 1070 can do -- I can't even imagine how insane this is going to look with that kind of horsepower behind it.
The image is from a video of a test rendering to show off the tech they will be using, no need to start picking holes in an image that pretty much has nothing to do with the ride.
So here is the tech on display.
No those are not actors, no that is technically not CGI in the traditional movie sense either. That is real time processing.
