Have we talked about the fact that in the Hawaiian language the word Batuu is slang for kiber crystal methamphetamine? It's apparently even pronounced the same in Hawaiian as the way it's being pronounced in public by Disney execs like Bob Chapek.

So apparently the WDI legal team didn't do a very thorough job on researching if Batuu had any other meanings in other languages besides English. The kids in Hawaii, according to Urban Dictionary, use the word Batuu interchangably with the words "Rock" or "Stone" or "Meth".

Fixed that for you.

I'm thinking they should just stick with calling it Galaxy's Edge instead of Batuu. Although I will just keep calling it Star Wars Land, which is probably the name they should have stuck with.

I think the word is "batu" but still close. That's probably not something they missed, that's probably exactly where they got the name from. I kind of like it.

After two bad Pixar Pier logos, does it surprise you that it was missed?
