Are you sure it wasn’t you? I’m pretty sure you (or whoever it was) was being sarcastic at the time and everyone believed that you saw the blueprints. What if phurby is tricking us 🤔?

Hahah. I’m about 99% sure it wasn’t me. I haven’t been active on MC in about 3 years outside a random comment here and there that nobody responds to.

It's like we're on The View.
I like to think of myself as Whoopi Goldberg.

Dang, how many "long time listeners first time callers" liked this post? I've always imagined that the only people reading these forums are the ten of us who never shut up

First of all, you can click on the link of number of likes and see who liked it. Most of them are regulars. :)

Second, to get the big number of likes, you need to post memes or insult Tony's...

If that were the case, they should have gone ahead with the theater. The closure of Tony's would have improved the park's customer ratings.

Nope. Sorry no tricking from me. I don't have time for that crap. Our sons are best friends and we carpool together. Our wives teach at the local JC. Occasionally he shows me some pretty cool pictures on his phone that he took that day on site. He use to show me construction pictures of Carsland and the good changes at Paradise Pier too. He's doesn't want his pictures released so I respect that.

He told me a couple of stories about how recently the construction workers got a head of themselves and poured 4 ft deep footings without a permit. They had to rip that stuff out this last week and will have to refill it soon. There was another story about how one of the construction workers brought in a gorilla mask after hours and started to ride the bumper cars at DCA. Disney security caught him and fired him from the work site and banned him from the parks for life.

Not sure about riding the bumper cars. I think you need a set of keys, knowledge of how to power up the ride, and two operators at the consoles. Perhaps if there was a maintenance override you might get away with just the keys and maybe powering up is self-explanatory. But all those years ago when I worked an attraction some of the more complex ones required a specific order of steps to power up.
