Did a quick overlay with Mintcrocodile's photo.

Two things though: as britain said, it's steel; an indoor prop probably wouldn't be. And why put it inside? Wouldn't Disney want it drawing attention to the attraction?

Very similar to PoTC in Shanghai where the biggest set pieces essentially had the show building built around them. This is much later but you can still see some structural steel used for those ships.

Exciting day! Some observations:

Compared to the MiceAge map, Battle Escape looks like there are some chunks broken off of it. Millennium Falcon looks nearly twice as large as it did on their map. In fact, they both look to be about the same size!

I'm guessing that the trough like structures to the left of where the Millennium Falcon exterior ship will be (seen in Near Map aerial photo) are going to be exit ramps.

The color coding might be tricking me, but it kinda looks like after you pass through the Fantasyland-side tunnel you're still surrounded by undefined (more Frontierland?) landscaping. As if you are not quite in Star Wars Land until you get to the orange buildings.

The other thing I want to point out is how (minus the added appendage to the right side), the MF is actually very symmetrical. We know the ride is essentially duplicated with two carousels, the design of this outline makes a lot more sense to achieve that than how MC had it before. It's still quite clear MC had at least a version of a plan, even if some things have shifted slightly.

Now for something controversial... that original temporary looking warehouse that was thrown up is in orange. The layout makes it seem very much like that will be guest accessible, so perhaps that building will also get taken out once the guts of the land need to be started on. I say that as the obviously temporary office structure is also occupying where a building is going. The newest steel structure though abutting toon town you can see on the map, but it is not colour coded to the land itself.

I don't think that it's going to be very guest accessible. I think walls are going right about here in blue.

I think you're right that quest access will end somewhere about there. Using the Falcon to get our bearings, your blue line would start about where I marked in yellow on this concept artwork:

Probably something like that. Trying to see where the imperial shuttle is going...

Thought I'd try this composition, but there is so much artistic license going on, I don't think this gets us very far.

In some areas I need to warp the map more, in others I need to warp it less. There just isn't an exact 1 to 1 correlation going on here.
