Someone may have found the place where star wars land props/pieces are being built:

I am a little skeptical that this would be for Star Wars Land, I think a hidden mickey that size would really ruin the immersion.

It might be a set piece in the ride that gets lost to those not knowing to look for it. Or it could also be a promotional piece that will be used temporarily when the park opens the new land.

Nothing much new to read here, but interesting to see side by side aerial views of DL a year ago and in September of 2016.

Good to see! Thanks!

I've seen some articles like this one mentioning VR being a part of SWL, but I have a hard time seeing how. Maybe as part of some VR enhanced Jedi Academy? ("All of a sudden, even though this blast shield is on my face, I can now see... through the force!")

A few random things I want to point out that I foresee some confusion over - starting at the 5:55 time-point in this video we can see that there are two layers of walls, with the smaller one clearly being significantly extended up until the start of the Fantasmic storage.

The train does not run in between them like it will over by the Wonderbra. Instead, the gap will form the new berm and be planted with trees. The train will run just to the South of the second wall against the river. The camera perspective makes it seem like there isn't much space between the second wall and TSI, but there is.

Secondly, I suspect the Fantasmic storage building will have an enclosed second storey. Seems to be the case with why the 'roof' took so long. Or it will be filled with dirt and trees. Either way it is load bearing.

From the looks of it, if they leave the tables the bottom level of the hungry bear there will be no view of people walking on pathway or river.
Looks like there will be a wall. The pathway seems to be sandwiched between to walls which will help hide foot traffic from river also.

It's to bad they don't extend the upper level eating area over the walkway. This would create a tunnel pathway with some natural light coming in but would also bring the eating area back close to the water on the second floor and add a few more tables

I noticed that as well. I'm very curious about all the grade changes that'll happen in that area.

I also wonder if this will be the western entrance to SW Land. I assume it will be because the DLRR trackbed is being laid along the bern just to the left and it appears that it will stay at that grade to connect to the track behind HBR.

I think that is just one of the trestles over waterfalls. The walking path is going to take a hard left after the hungry bear, hence the retaining wall slicing into the berm.
