This is NEVER coming back.
And the fact that its converted to office space, this is trolling the fans.
Now all that's left is to start charging $2K for a tour of Imagineering. I can think of many (myself included) that would LARP as an Imagineer. I know, genius! You're welcome Bob!

No, that's the point.
They are destroying Muppets 3D to save the office space AND taking the Star cruiser for office space.
They need the office space for all the projects they are (working?) on in WDW.
You'll see. In 7 to 10 years when all the new stuff is open for previews you will see I was right.

Sometimes it seems like Disney is teasing them at EPCOT, with all of the stupid callbacks for nostalgia. "Remember how great EPCOT was pre-1998? Horizons, Figment, World of Motion?" It's all just pandering to 45 year old Gen X nostalgic men who "won't let go of the past".
With the advent of AI, it scares the hell out of me for creative decisions. Imagine AI Darth Vader... just gives me this icky feeling.

I don’t really see a problem. It wasn’t ideally positioned to be incorporated into the park in any way, and hopefully it frees up some of the office space elsewhere that needs to be demolished at the same park. Biggest concern is for the Imagineers working inside a windowless prison frigate.

Lol. It is pretty funny. Not that the execution was great but I feel that the concept itself was doomed to fail. The question is why couldn’t the imagineers see that? With that said, it feels like Galactic Starcruiser was just a value engineered boutique hotel cosplaying experience serving up nothing but the stuff Chapek paywalled and moved over from Galaxies Edge. They VASTLY overvalued things like cheesy lightsaber training, a tiny sterile cafeteria and couple nameless walk around characters including a Blue Captain who looked like she was more from Star Trek. They basically thought they could charge the fandom ridiculous prices for them to pretty much supply their own fun.
What they need to do is build a Star Wars Deluxe hotel that looks like the palace on Naboo. Or do a hotel like Wilderness Lodge or AK lodge with Ewok treehouses options.
Please do not give anyone on the ET ideas for re-brandings. The last thing we need is them closing the Treehouses for 4 years to add minimal Ewok Village theming.

Lol, no retheme. They need to go big or go home on a new build. But the Ewok idea is just a fun idea. If I was in charge I’d go with the Deluxe beautiful Star Wars hotel that looks like your on Lake Como like Naboo. Have the Star Wars stuff be supplementary to the fact that it’s just a beautiful deluxe hotel.

Its property they already own, with a structure already build. It's close to the park properties, but not right in the parks or where you are taking up space that could be used for rides/park expansion. Its probably the best and most cost effective choice for more office space they could have made.
